I believe you are allowed to leave the country only maximum of 40 days per year. If you stay more you could lose your residence card. I will verify completely and get back to you.

Hi Jim actually according to the new rules in Turkey you can be out of the country a maximum of 120 days without a penalty. Hope that helps answer your question.
