I have quite a large brotherwise games collection at this point so I already knew I was going to back this as soon as I knew it was a thing. I went for the final boss pledge. The big box storage solution and the unique mats for each player was the deciding factor. It has been really fun following the campaign the whole time (we broke over $1M!!) and I’m so excited to get the game in my hands.

I’m SO happy the campaign is as high as it is! Did not expect it to break $1M, and I cheered when it did! I’ll definitely be building up my Boss Monster collection to its max at some point, and also can’t wait to get this to my table and play 😄

I remember hearing about boss monster and got immediately hooked, I hunted all the editions, and I backed super boss monster at the Final Boss Tier. Just because I have all the original games and the "DLC" Card expansion packs. A little side note, the "DLC" expansion pack called Crash Landing introduced a 5-6 player mode before Super Boss Monster.

I still need to collect all the extra stuff. Without anyone to play with, getting it all wasn’t a high priority. And I didn’t even know that one expansion made it 5-6 players! Learn something new every day.

@@homegamerdad happy to help, but no worries, you can always head to a tabletop game section of any convention in your town and ask to showcase Boss Monster.

I've loved Boss Monster ever since I saw it in my LGS years and years ago and immediately backed SBM when it went live. I hope the big box isn't the end for the series, but like you said I'm sure they'll keep it around. I did ask if we could play the solo mode under the comments tab and they unfortunately don't make their mods public in case of counterfeits. Bummer, but I get it. Still excited nonetheless!

I hope the big box isn’t the end either, but I have faith that we’ll still be seeing a LOT from this game as time goes on. That stinks we can’t play, but understandable. Can’t wait for it arrive next year!

My favorite game but it never got played cuz I lost my players.but as a solo gamer I'm prob gonna get back in.I need a rulebook before I decide.I'm sure there is alot of" take that" spell and room cards that are going to have to be removed for solo play.unless brother wise does what they did with call to adventure and you draw them as a penalty.there maybe slot of ways to tweak your solo games.ill wait and see

I’m with you in that I love the game, but don’t have anyone to play with. Solo mode looks solid to me, at least after the few plays I watched. I’m sure a bunch of cards from the first Boss Monster won’t work or be odd to use, but maybe I can come up with some creative ways to get around that 😬

Usually when something comes up on kickstarter, I tend to do the $/£/€1 pledge or wait until the campaign is almost over. This one however, big box, player mats, deluxe components, some exclusive items and an insert for sleeved cards. Shut up and take my money!! Solo mode is not that intresting for me, but it is a nice way to try out the game. Also I believe I got almost everything except for a few promo cards, and the Collector's box I got is packed full, no more can be fittied. So have it all in one box with mats, yeah istant backing! There was a little expansion that took it to 5-6 players (crash landing in one of those gameboy packs), also I got a newsletter saying that there will be extra player mats available as add ons in the pledge manager.

Indeed, I used the info in that newsletter to plan out what I wanted to get in addition to my pledge 😅 One day I’ll have everything for the game, but I’m okay piecing it out little by little. Solo mode is my biggest pull because even though I love the game, I don’t have anyone to play with. But when I do, it’s an epic dungeon boss battle!

Also on the main campaign page it says that previous promo packs and if you wanted the overboss KS edition will be add-ons in the PM.
