That ETS mag will let you down. I get it. I was using the flush fit 7rnder for my Glock 42, but the plastic feed lips wear down and start to chip/crack. Eventually the spring will vomit out all the ammo at once into your range bag or wherever you keep them. I think MagGuts makes a +1 and a +2 for the 43.

I ended up getting the Shield Arms magazine, which is 9+1 and works flawlessly. Video pending. :)

Putting the Magguts +2 on a G43 is perfection to me. 8+1 in a pocket pistol thats single stack, and remains the same length as the stock pinky extender 6+1. Genuinely negates every downside people talk about with the G43 and oversized baseplates making them obsolete.
@GunsofCaptainWesticle25 күн бұрын
@@SweatCookienese have you seen the Shield Arms magazine for the G43? There's a review of it on this channel. Holds 9 rounds, with pretty much the same footprint. It's fantastic. :)
@SweatCookienese25 күн бұрын
@@GunsofCaptainWesticle Yes I have! I am not a fan of the fact its not an extension though, its just an aftermarket mag. With the Magguts you at least have the OEM shell for each magazine.

@SweatCookienese true. And alotmf people want original Glock parts because of their reliability. I will say that I have been using the Shield Arms mags in my G43X for years, and never had a single issue. I have heard of some other folks having problems though. So to each their own. :)

I preferred a MagGuts +1 (7+1) that is a flush fit in the G43 Magazine and works flawlessly. I also prefer trimming down the Glock OEM Followers to allow proper 8+1 magazine baseplate extensions allowing proper spring relief on the TOP ROUND on a fully loaded magazine. The G43 is a slimmed down Glock 26 with a 17lbs RSA (OEM). GlockStore also offers these RSAs in Tungsten full 17lbs and a lighter 13-15lbs (packaging not marked), however Glock Inc does also recommend these if a lighter recoil (slide ops) is wanted. I also run these lighter RSA in my G42 as the OEM is 18lbs and again I trim down the OEM Followers to allow an easy 7 rounds in a flush magazine (no springs required). They give me tighter groupings on rapid fire sequence. If I want capacity then there’s my G19 or G23. I learn very quickly to shoot the G26 TWO FINGER as the grip-angle supports doing just that, with the little finger curled under the mag and provides support. In fact, I can shoot both the G19/G23 two finger grip. ITS ALL PRACTICE and perseverance. It’s in your MASTER GRIP.

Been thinking about shaving down my stock feeder on one of my other magazines. Been hearing from multiple people that it works really well.

I don't understand why Glock will not make extended mags for these 2 guns . Anyway good video.
@GunsofCaptainWesticle8 ай бұрын
Agreed. It's absolute BS. I'm still waiting for them to come out with a true micro 9, but I don't think they ever will. The only reason they are still competitive in the concealed carry market is because of Shield Arms magazines for both of these guns, and the fact that they shoot so well. But there is no reason at all that we shouldn't be getting something like the Shadow Systems CR920.
@ROOSTER-ql5fsАй бұрын
Why would they make an extended mag when you can just get the 43x
@Ray-vq2jcАй бұрын
@@ROOSTER-ql5fs Its not to figure out why, many people bought the 43, years before the 43x came out.
@radiohobbyist134 ай бұрын
But of course the 43X magazines won't fit into the 43 mag well because the 43X is a stack and a half width, whereas the 43 is a true single stack. BUMMER! 😕
@GunsofCaptainWesticle4 ай бұрын
Technically, the 43X is also a single stack. Shield Arms made it a stack and a half by getting rid of the plastic coating around the magazine.

Could you get a 43x mos lower with the pic rail, if you can where and how much?
@GunsofCaptainWesticle8 ай бұрын
If you are looking for just the lower, try some of the well-known internet sites. I got the lower for my 43 off of Gunbroker.com. There's also Grabagun.com, and Armslist.com. I would try those places.

Get a taran tactical plus 1
@GunsofCaptainWesticle7 ай бұрын
I looked at those, but I was wanting a plus 2, and their plus 2 option is a bit bulky. I got the Z9 magazine from Shield Arms, and that gives you plus 3, with less printing than the plus 2 offering from TTI.

@@GunsofCaptainWesticle I pocket carry mine run it with plus 1 I have a z9 mag had issues with not locking back on last round got a stronger spring worked fine for a while then It would start locking the slide back with 2 rounds left in mag so I just run the tti and have a plus 3 for spare
