I need to spend more time configuring the settings for the hi hat - but it is the weakest part of the kit

@opendrumlessons is it possible to share your final configuration ?

Hi how much space it takes in you room? Width and depth. Im considering this pro version or the standard 750x since space is high importance to me
@opendrumlessonsАй бұрын
The foam tiles the kit is on is 1.2 meters by 1.8 metres (the stool comes slightly off the edge to get enough space)

Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I've rooted the drum kit via usb back through garageband and MT Power Deum Kit VST kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKCml4iwdqiErMUsi=aG4ladQIKJCOGYg4 I talk about it in more detail in the video above. The toms are dual zone, crash is dual, and ride cymbal is triple zone. I'm seriously enjoying playing on the kit. It's great for practice and getting back into playing again 😊👍🙌

Thanks for watching. EZ drummer will definitely be a consideration down the road. I'm loving the free MT power plug in ATM though!

I have a Roland td-17kvx2. It's the only ekit I've ever owned. I did make some changes tho. I ditched that rack and bought the one that comes with the td-27. Then I upgraded the floor tom and added a splash cymbal. If I had to do it over again I just would've bought the td27kv2. The td-17kvx2 is perfect for a beginner like me tho so it's alright. Plus somedays I'm enjoying learning the drums and somedays I want to quit and sell everything haha.

Hold on to those good days and keep in mind the thing that pushed you to want to learn drums in the first place. Playing and enjoying music is a gift. Thank you for the comment about your kit of choice. The td-17kvx2 looks a great kit (and I know Roland modules and on board sounds are brilliant), it was just a little out of my budget. Also, I love the way the mps 750x pro has the full size bass drum. Thanks again for your comment, I appreciate you taking the time.

Keep with it dude !!!! I have the TD27 for my main kit, and the TD17 so I can have a BUNCH of extra cymbals or whatever you want, and I love them both !!! I also bought that little Lekato set !!!! It looks cheesy, but.... That thing is great !!! I hooked up my Roland TD6 module to it, added my 10' hi hat on a stand from the TD17KVX set, and got a kick pad and kick pedal, added a few cymbals and that set is rules !!!! Hahahahahahaha I'm not sure what I like more.... the Lekato with the TD6, OR, my TD27 kit with the TD-17 so I can have a bunch of extra cymbals. (It's a pretty large set that ain't moving.....lol) And the Lekato set fits in a pizza bag. Both are great, but I love all the fun sounds on the TD6 module. Plus playing such a compact set is just a ton of fun ! But edrums have come so far in the last decade, it's really exciting !!! You'll definitely get to the point where everything becomes easier so you won't regret the time you put into them !!! Hope you stick with it and progress ! Have a great day !!! 😁👍

@@laptoples right on. I'll keep putting in the work. I also have an acoustic kit. I bought that about 1 month before my ekit. I seriously underestimated how damn loud they are haha so that's why I bought the ekit. I hardly touch the acoustic set anymore but I should probably spend some time on that occasionally too. I made a few changes to that kit also. I can see this becoming very expensive in the future. I replaced the heads and added some different cymbals stands. Ones with the boom arms so I could adjust them better. It's a Tama Imperial Star so it's a decent kit to learn on but the hardware kinda sucks. Especially the throne. I sat on that for about 6 months being miserable before I finally bought something else. Imo the best thing is having a decent throne. Then of course with 2 kits I needed another hi hat stand and kick pedal. At some point I want to get better cymbals but it's so hard to decide what I want. Where I live there's not many music stores where you can go and try different brands out. If I were to buy something right now it would probably be the Zildjian K sweet series.

I knew it was MT powerkit the second I heard that snare.

Thanks for the comment. I think it's a great kit for the price. Not the best on the market, but certainly great value for money if you can hook it up to a VST plug in.
