Thank you for sharing this! I have been taking this type of approach with my locs but never heard of “semi-freeform.” I like that term.

Can you show us how to use the crochet hook?

Your locks look fine. They are very natural. Of coarse you would groom them, I do the same especially when freshly washed. That refined style that exposes the scalp isn't healthy, to me, seems like hair is being stressed, pulled, plucked, I just can't rock with that. I started as a rastafarian and in that culture free-form is the order of the hair style. So I stick close to that way. I absolutely love my LOCKS.

Thats very close to free form. What i dont understand is i grew my hair out for 2 years free form locks and all i did was just seperate it a little after 2 years and 4 months so now im considered a semi free former...what kind of stuff is that? I dont like the logic when it comes to free form and semi free form

Have you done a hair routine? Do you moisturize, I'm not dissing you but it doesn't look like you put any product in your hair
@vanessav692 Жыл бұрын
Locs don't need products. That's a modern fad.
@Hazardz09 Жыл бұрын
Well I Def think that depends on your hair type cause I know I didn't use products for a while and I got a combo of products and they work well for me it's mostly a decent oil and cream but it's usually applied for retwist I just figured since she doesn't retwist I'd ask
@hallease Жыл бұрын
I used to dilute a liquid leave in conditioner but my hair is so tightly packed it prompted buildup. I don’t use anything on my locs aside from water, shampoo. I condition using a hair rinse that I wash out immediately. In the winter if it gets very dry outside I’ll put a little bit of olive oil on the bottom half of my locs but even with that I keep it minimal

It's beautiful...isn't it funny how we women always wish we had each others hair ...I have really thick thick curly wavey hair...it locks up nice but my skin is white so they look shit on me ..I'd look like I'd lost my mind or like a spoiled rich white woman who is trying to be cool...any way, I love your hair I always wanted locks with shells in as hair jewelry....I do like my hair ...its massive❤️

So I knew a girl she smelled awful she had locs and they kept falling out from the top, she washed them but wouldn’t that make mold?
@hallease Жыл бұрын
If you don’t dry your locs correctly, yes that can lead to mold.
