Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed making it immensely. It's the first video I have ever scripted and narrated as opposed to using captions. I'm still a relative beginner at this so it makes me really happy to hear that people are enjoying my content. It's been very difficult filming in England since October 23 because it's been too windy to record audio much of the time. I was sick of the wind and rain so I am currently filming a series of videos in "The French Riviera", South of France. There are some truly lovely towns and villages here. Over the next two months the videos will be released, then it's back over the channel to resume my UK videos. Thanks again for watching. All the best

Beautiful sandy beach in the fir trees to your left b4 you hit the sand is a strange WW2 pillbox. Its been blown apart as the beach was a practice area for D-Day

Norfolk is lovely just seems to have a problem keeping out flooding
@johna60048 ай бұрын
Yes Colin. I'd have to agree with you there. It seems to me you either suffer flooding in places like this, or you have to deal with erosion once you pass Cromer where the land is not so "Low lying" Thanks for your comment!

Is the water clean?
@johna60048 ай бұрын
Hi James. Thanks for taking an interest. I had a look on the government website which rates water based on pollution and can tell you that the sea around Wells has been rated "Good" this year. If you were wondering are the waters "clear", then the answer would be... If there has been little in the way of strong winds for a while they can be crystal clear If there have been strong winds and lots of breaking surf the water is often still clear but due to the sandy bottom being churned up by this process...it can seem less clear Water clarity is usually best on beaches with a rocky seabed or large stones/shingles as they tend not to move about less, therefore causing less disturbance

Thanks for watching my video. The people are nothing like they are portrayed, that's for sure. There are some wonderful places if you know where to look. I would love to make some more videos in the area but, despite living in the area for 18 years I've pretty much exhausted my knowledge of really nice places to visit. I would love it if any viewers could come up with some suggestions for great locations for a video. If you take a look at my playlists you'll find a Norfolk one that shows all of the locations I have filmed already. If anyone could suggest places NOT already on this list I would be very, very grateful. Thanks again for watching!!!

I can't believe I didn't notice that Simon. D-day? Who would have thought it. Funnily enough I am not far from Dunkirk at the moment, so war has been on my mind. Whenever I hear then name "Dunkirk" it immediately makes me think of soldiers laying their lives on the line in battle to protect their territories. I didn't realise Dunkirk actually has a fantastic, vast sandy beach. I was very surprised. I am currently 16 days into a 2-3 month filming run covering "The French Riviera"...well thats if I can ever actually get there!!! To say that things haven't gone smoothly would be the understatement of the year. I've spent the last 14 days stranded in a place called "Sens" which I'd never heard of before. Of all the beautiful and interesting places I could have been I have instead been living on an industrial estate whilst trying to obtain two new tyres to replace t

The two punctured ones I've managed to get. Hopefully in the next few days I'll be able to continue my adventure. Thanks very, very much for commenting on the video. It means a lot to me that people take an interest in my content and it helps the channel to grow more than you would believe. All the best.
