Why I Change My Bucket On A Belt. I started off with the Unger Ninja BOAB but i learned that i did not like a few things about it. I recently purchased the Aztec Samurai. I love this BOAB. Heres the link

Just so happens that you got it all wrong, what you want is swivel, the Samurai comes with a solid swivel mechanism that hooks on your belt. All the buckets with the webbing on just tips over when you bend down or over, the swivel keeps the bucket in upright position all the time. Only reason it might tip over is if you carry so much stuff in your pants pocket that the bucket get stuck on it and tips. I actually changed to the Samurai for that very reason, you just got a version with the webbing that might also end up dumping water. Only downside, they one of the most expensive BOAB with he swivel mechanism, fair bit cheaper with the webbing.

I’ve been using the original soft boab for years. It handles my strip washer, three squeegees and my scraper. I shove my scrub pad under the scraper.

I started with a Unger (not ninja), tried a Wagtail hip Dipper, and now use a Samurai. It's awesome! Some mods I did to it, female buckle attached by a through T nut through to the work belt, I like swivel. The strap on the bucket was shorted much, if needed it can be put on the pants belt. The combo tool insert is used, two Wagtail High Flyers are mostly used, and a Wagtail extension handle(fits great in the single slot). also an Excelerator on hooks in the back.

I modified mine and cut off the belt loop and made a fixed mount and attached it to my molle combat systems webbing. Great video Scott

Great content. I just started using the Moerman boab. I like that it doesnt swivel as well and doesnt slide on the belt. I had to change the way my squeegees face to make it easier to remove replace them. And I like that it sits high on my hip..helps when you're shorter .. keep up the good work..

I have used that boab since 2007, and the design has barely changed. Other than going from green to black. Well before the accelator and wagtail was used or invented. I am from the UK and we basically do nothing but monthly maintenance cleans, outside only. So use alot lighter setup. That boab was origionally intented for ergo-tec squeegees, and not the bulkier ninjas. Its a shame they haven't adjusted the size, but it is a nice lightweight boab perfect for a slimeline channel. I use either the unger boab or the moerman drywalker.

I have a red one, it has the older wide slot insert. A 18' HF fits in the slot well, a 12" HF goes in the wide section, an Excelerator also fits. In the small spot a Wagtail angle handle lives. My female buckle is modded to swivel, attached to the belt. For houses the 12" HF and modded 6" HF handle in the wide section, handle down. It's worth twice the money

Nah the bucket on a belt just holds the mop. It slowly holds water but we empty it after every job
