Choosing MTech at IIT over Jobs after BTech was difficult for me. But once I choose IIT, I don't have any regrets at all. In this video I highlighted few key points which you should keep in mind to decide what to do after BTech.

@@JakePeraltaaa99 Yeah if u get good Rank in Gate okay else work for 1 or 2 years in any company side by side do ur preparations for gate... Once u clear gate u can leave the company... If u r having problem to prepare with job then quit it after doing some project for a year or two... That's the best I can say... If by chance u can't clear GATE u will have experience that will land in job latter on... I m following the same thing

Go for GATE. And you have TCS in your hands so don't worry in case you can't get good rank in GATE. And year gap doesn't matter.

Hi bro , In my 11th standard i got a dream to study in an IIT. But i didn't score that much and joined in a tier 3 college then in 3rd year only i came to know about GATE exam . I really got excited about this exam and started preparing in the 3rd year and i gave an attempt but i got disqualified with 18 marks . Then i lost my motivation and i didn't prepare for nearly 5 months , i prepared for placement and now i got 2 offers , but still i can't forget about my dream of studying in IIT. So i started again from scratch. But I'm not confident that i can able to cover all the subject within 2.5 months , But hope i will give my best shot this time and achieve my dream one day

Bhaiya I got placed in Cisco with an (intern + full time) offer of 15 LPA CTC. I had cracked GATE in 3rd year with AIR 2238. Right now, I am in my final year with all the syllabus completed and revision going on. Should I go into IIT if I get one after improving my rank this year or should I join Cisco? if my only motive even after M.Tech is placement and not research.

If you get any top IIT or IISc then only you should go. The degree and the experience will remain forever. And you will get 20+ lpa job quite easily.

Bro I am currently working in TCS in Web development and I just completed 1 year. I am not satisfied with my current field of work and I want to switch career path into the field of Machine Learning/Deep Learning. I don't have good CSE knowledge as I am from ECE branch. If I start preparing I would be able to give the GATE in 2023 with good preparation and that would be after nearly 2.5-3 years of work experience. I am very confused taking that into consideration. Should I try switching companies and reach where I want to go or should I aim for GATE 2023? I need your sincere advice bro. I am very confused and feeling hopeless.

That's why during my first year when I was a kid I always thought of getting into it to live a better life but by the time have realised the potential of this place.. No,it is not possible. If you want to do MTech in CIVIL BRANCH,so you have to give GATE CIVIL paper.

Not necessarily. IIT tag of course is a big plus. But if you get same placement in NITC then go for it. Otherwise if you have interest in research or higher studies, go for mtech in IIT.

Bhaiya just like you, after the wbjee counselling i also got CS in a tier 3 college. I found that if i stay in this college, i will not able to grow. So i joined IIEST mechanical (though i don't have interest in mech).My dream to do my MS in robotics and join NASA. Bhaiya , according to you the step which i have taken worth it?? 🙏 please reply.

Absolutely bro. Just go for your dream and work hard to achieve it. If you want to go to US for masters then prepare for GRE. There are good universities which are giving robotics. And jobs are also great in this domain.

I say don't waste year. Instead join any college and upskill yourself. Later you can choose GATE or any other path as you like. But if and only if you can afford one year drop and be confident that you will perform good in mains then go for drop!
