Why I Chose a Z400 from Kawasaki

The Z400 fits all my needs. Seating position is good. Speed is good. I did go to a Corbin seat. And changed all bulbs to LED. REAR FENDER DELETE WITH THE SESQUENTAIL BRAKE light and I kept the OEM signals so 4 signals on rear now. Taller windscreen, foam slip over hand grips. And louder muffler

I'm 68 yrs old yooper Dan and i just got my Kawasaki z 400 from Motor Sports Depere Wis. Drove home from dealership. Hit 95 mph and still had more to go. I like cheap insurance cost. 47 mpg during the brake in. Perfect for one person riding! It's been awhile (35 yrs) & I feel like a kid again. Update. 300 miles so far. Half way in my break in. Will change oil filter w 10w40 oil. Summer heat coming. 51 mpg now! Saw on KZbin the problem with the mirrors so I cut them off and added a 4 inches of chrome tubeing extension and it looks great. I can see perfect behind me now! Wish I could show you a picture. Would love to put a Corbin seat on.

I picked up a 2021 with 2k miles for $4k. Only thing I’ve done to it is a Corbin seat. Worth it. I’m 60 and been riding since I was a kid. Had everything from Kawasaki triples to sportbikes. Grew up riding dirt bikes and still have a couple dual sports. I’ve always liked lighter bikes and I was looking for a smaller street bike to run around on. This is a great little bike. I’m old so I don’t love the styling but I can live with it. If they come out with a z400rs with the in-line 4 from the zx4 I’ll probably get that. But this is a really good bike.

Got myself a white Z400 a month ago. My first bike as well, incredibly fun. I've driven those mountains before when I was stationed in Tucson. I bet it's highly enjoyable on a bike

I cut my mirrors off & added a 4inch chrome tube extension to it. Looks cool & I can see traffic really good behind me now.
