Anthony Berry/Dmann Tuning is the man...great to work with. He Protuned my VB on Dyno at Felix Performance (354whp/356wtq). Felix is local to me, so Dmann/Felix was a very easy choice. You can really tell he does 1000s of tunes specifically on WRXs and VBs. He gets the car dialed in so quickly (3rd pull on the Dyno and the tune is pretty much good to go making power). I have had his tune on my VB for 15k miles and over 1 year. Once tuned the VB is a highway monster. Driveability, response, just better in EVERY way.

Anthony is the best. I used his ots maps when I only had an ets intake and once I got the I pipe, tmic, and a catback I went with his e85 etune. The car pulls so mich better and if I had an issue he responds fairly quick and will work with you. Great experience I recommend him 100%

How long do you think I can run a ots map with only an intake? Will I eventually have to get a pro tune? Is it bad for car?

Anthony is great!! Had my VA tuned by him via data logs. Was a great experience and the great felt great! Waiting until early spring to get my new VB Dmann tuned!!

Nice! What numbers did you make with your VA?
@chrisdevlin414616 күн бұрын
@ nothing crazy lol. Mostly stock. Had intake and boost controller with some supporting mods. Believe it was 280, lol but she felt good. Didn’t feel fast but felt dialed in if that makes sense.

I used Snail Performance in Auburn CA. Couldn’t be happier. I wanted a physical location, actual power numbers, to talk to the tuner face to face, etc.

Would love to see the dash gages when you are driving. Hard to see and “feel” what you are experiencing. Second VB here :) Had A 2022 WRB traded for a 2024 white. Would love better visual details please! Thanks!! And a pedal cam if I am being selfish 😂

So if you're spending $3,000, you're getting 340 whp, what's the zero-60 with and without dumping the clutch?
@SenorRobb15 күн бұрын
On the VB, all you need is an ETS intake and a tune which is around 1k.
@joshpinchuk706115 күн бұрын
@SenorRobb that's good to know. So then how fast does that make this bad boy?
@SenorRobb15 күн бұрын
@@joshpinchuk7061 what this guy is putting which is between 330-340. There’s a shop Dman partners with in Maryland, Felixperformance, that tunes a lot of VB on their dyno. I saw the other day that adding a front mount intercooler jumped up to 360 on 93. Then if you want more, j pipe, intermediate pipe, cat back, will definitely get you close to 400 on 93, possibly more on e85. For 3k you can make a lot more power than 340 reliably too.
@joshpinchuk706115 күн бұрын
@@SenorRobb in a dream world, I would hope that you are right. However with this video seems to indicate is that if you push past that 350 horsepower limit, you are definitely straying far far away from reliability. But maybe I missed something maybe that wasn't on 93 octane? Because I live in the New York metro area and 93 octane is the norm for premium so it's very readily available
@SenorRobb15 күн бұрын
@@joshpinchuk7061 it’s not a dream, what people consider “reliable” can be subjective. A Buddy of mine has the basic bolts on his VB, I take, full turbo back exhaust, turbo inlet, and FMIC. He’s around 400, after 2 years, transmission is great, car runs smooth, no issues. Just needs to upgrade clutch. I would argue 400hp mark is the limit because we’re seeing with just base bolt ons, you can get more power than 350. People just want to be conservative which is fair
