US universities are heavily dependent on foreign students since they pay a lot in tuition fees. Many universities will downsize if foreign student enrollment drops. Thanks to the foreign students for helping the US economy 👍🏼

My son wants to study in the US for his bachelors he just completed plustwo and he wants to settle there but the travel agency are saying if you wanna settle take Canada . They also said u cannot do partime in USA as a student and stayback is just 90days and he is just so sad

Hey, i’m going for my bachelors in US next month so I thought I could maybe answer a few things, it is true, if your son wishes to settle in, Canada would be the best option as he’d be able to get PR while doing his bachelors and everything, but job opportunities are no wonder much more in US and so are the expenses, even i’m worried about my tuition but i’m going with this leap of faith that it will work out, also if he chooses US, tell him it’d take 9-10 years for him to get green card and some more years for citizenship (if he goes through work visa route) if he marries someone and all that, thats whole another case and would a bit less time than 10 years but still, getting degree and looking for good job all while being able to pay his expenses should be his main concern rather than settling in, hope it helps!
