I was born into azerbaijanese muslim family. At one point i accept Islam again and started praying 5 times a day.. but then it just didn't sit well with me and eventually I left god. But god never left me. He called me back to be closer to him and now I am a Christian and I feel like I found my god again. Love that you share this story for many of us like you out there!

@@leaderleader658 yes it’s what is called “Latin Mass Catholic.” I later found out that the greatest witnessed Christian miracle in history (Our Lady of Fatima) came to warn that the Pope and Rome would stray from the true faith and begged Christians to preserve this faith. Witnessed by 100,000 people and secular news reporters in an atheist communist nation. Incredibly powerful. I was raised anti-catholic and never heard of latin mass. I thought maybe it was just Catholic Mass in Latin. But after experiencing it, it truly rebuilt my entire spiritual life. It’s very powerful for me.

@@bryan1377 Yes, sure. But please read the whole thing as I feel it’s incredibly supernatural. No embellishing only the truth as I experienced it. As I said, I fell into atheism. I grew up Protestant but was disillusioned with it during college. It felt plastic. And I would see everyone claiming Christian but nobody modified their lives. It was more “say you believe” and that’s all. I found this very plastic and I didn’t feel a connection to God. After a few years I began to study Islam and the Quran and learn Arabic. I was visiting at a mosque. But it never felt right. I always remembered the words of Christ about good trees produce good fruit. And I could never overcome that with Islam. So I quit it and then believed perhaps the professors were right. Maybe there’s no god. Maybe there’s the god of Spinoza. Maybe the universe is God. But this all felt much too abstract so I essentially became an agnostic for about 10 years. This led to nihilism and s3xual amorality. It felt like a gradual realization that God is real and atheism kills the inner spirit. So I began making a simple prayer every night saying something to the affect of: “God. I want to know you. I’ll go wherever you lead me, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, I’ll go wherever you lead me. I ask you for wisdom and truth.” And literally, after maybe a month of this (but doing no searching at all, not attending any church, not exploring any religion really just praying). And as a side note, I was raised to be anti-Catholic. I didn’t even know any Catholics really, but we were taught they were pagans. This was the very last place I’d ever search for God. And then one day out of the absolute clear blue I had an overwhelming sensation it felt like chills and goosebumps all over my body. And this voice came inside of me telling me I must go to this church that is in my city. I had never once stepped foot in it before or known a single member who attended. And it was Catholic. So I went. And that very day they announced that they would begin the year long journey for new members the very next day. So if I hadn’t attended that very day I would’ve not ever become a member. So I began going to the classes every week. But I found it pretty strange to be honest. I didn’t believe anything they taught. (Remember my bias from earlier). And I would challenge the priest constantly for evidence and proof, and he seemed content living on faith. So I didn’t feel it was going to work. I’m an engineer and need to see and feel. But, I always remembered that day when I experienced God. So I kept going. It came to the last 2 months before I would have to accept the faith and become a member. And I was fairly bought in at this point, except for the Eucharist. I didn’t believe Jesus truly meant his bread and wine would become his body and blood. So I began to pray again daily saying “Lord, if this truly is your body and blood, show me a sign, not for me but for the world. If you show me I will tell everyone constantly.” And then on March 5th (my birthday) the first ever Eucharistic miracle occurred in the United States (though it’s still under formal review). I figured I simply could not reject this anymore. That’s the short story.

@@Zenitsukun-e9u Here my questions for Muslims and maybe you can answer at least some of them. 1) The quran states that Mohammed’s “the god” (that is all that allah means) is guarding the quran. Yet I have TWO very different versions of the quran in Arabic right here at home, which proves that the quran is not perfectly preserved. We also read that Uthman burnt all of the versions of the quran based on what Mohammed recited which shows that Uthman did not believe that the quran was from GOD. So did Mohammed lie about “the god” guarding the quran, or was Mohammed’s “the god” not capable of guarding the quran? Either way, this proves that the quran is not from GOD. 2) Do you know that there are some 40 different versions of the Arabic quran we know of? So which quran is the one kept by Mohammed’s “the god” in heaven? And which version of the quran do you use and why that one? 3) These different versions of quran were written by unknown authors. As this is something Muslims keep throwing at Christians about the Gospel writers, how does one deal with the fact that the quran writers are all unknown? This makes hypocrites out the people who follow Islam. 4) How does one deal with all the mistakes and contradictions in the quran? Muslims claim the quran is perfect, so why all the mistakes and contradictions? 5) How does one deal with the approval of evil in the quran such as raping women who have been captures in battle (surah 33:50) which is rape and adultery, both are evil and condemned by GOD as being evil. 6) How does one deal with wife beating (surah 4:34). Would you like your father to beat your mother? I would not, so how can I accept that this is from GOD? 7) How does one deal with child marriage (surah 65:4) which means that Mohammed and his allah approved of raping little prepubescent girls (those who have not menstruated) which is pure evil. And we see that Mohammed led by example when he married a 6 year old child and then raped that child when it was just 9 years old. 8) So tell me, why do you believe you will be with GOD our FATHER in heaven on judgement day when you follow Mohammed? You see to me this clearly disqualified Mohammed as a prophet of GOD which means that islam cannot be from GOD. And remember all of islam is only based what Mohammed maybe recited and how he lived.

I just started reading “The Cost of Discipleship” written by one of my heroes, your very own Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I think it’s safe to say that he was very bold, and didn’t worry about any “best light” that his sermons would put out. Jesus tells us that we should never be afraid nor timid about sharing what we know about the Truth, which is found in the Bible alone. During WWII 10 thousand “Christians” rallied to get rid of the Old Testament in the Bible because it was a JEWISH book, they said. The Bible nowhere says we who were raised as non-Jews should REPLACE Israel, but rather, in the last days before the second advent of Yeshua, we will be invited to JOIN Israel in praise and worship of our Savior! He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives. Also have you read the stories in the Bible where David and others do atrocious things? Yet I have TWO very different versions of the quran in Arabic right here at home, which proves that the quran is not perfectly preserved. We also read that Uthman burnt all of the versions of the quran based on what Mohammed recited which shows that Uthman did not believe that the quran was from GOD. So did Mohammed lie about “the god” guarding the quran, or was Mohammed’s “the god” not capable of guarding the quran? Either way, this proves that the quran is not from GOD. 2) Do you know that there are some 40 different versions of the Arabic quran we know of? So which quran is the one kept by Mohammed’s “the god” in heaven? And which version of the quran do you use and why that one? 3) These different versions of quran were written by unknown authors. As this is something Muslims keep throwing at Christians about the Gospel writers, how does one deal with the fact that the quran writers are all unknown? This makes hypocrites out the people who follow Islam. 4) How does one deal with all the mistakes and contradictions in the quran? Muslims claim the quran is perfect, so why all the mistakes and contradictions? 5) How does one deal with the approval of evil in the quran such as raping women who have been captures in battle (surah 33:50) which is rape and adultery, both are evil and condemned by GOD as being evil. 6) How does one deal with wife beating (surah 4:34). Would you like your father to beat your mother? I would not, so how can I accept that this is from GOD? 7) How does one deal with child marriage (surah 65:4) which means that Mohammed and his allah approved of raping little prepubescent girls (those who have not menstruated) which is pure evil. And we see that Mohammed led by example when he married a 6 year old child and then raped that child when it was just 9 years old. 8) So tell me, why do you believe you will be with GOD our FATHER in heaven on judgement day when you follow Mohammed? You see to me this clearly disqualified Mohammed as a prophet of GOD which means that islam cannot be from GOD. And remember all of islam is only based what Mohammed maybe recited and how he lived.

Yes. He said that he is God and that he would die and rise back to life again within 3 days. According to the vast majority of historians Jesus existed and died by crucifiction and his followers and enemies of his really believed that they saw the resurrected Jesus. They believed it to the point that they were willing to die for it which many of them did. The best explanation for that is that he is who he said he was and thats God. And Islam is just false because it gets basic historical and scientific facts wrong and even contradicts its self.

This is true, but it’s because Islam has a very strong belief in the oneness of God. He’s eternal and beyond human attributes (Surah Al-Ikhlas, 112:1-3). Jesus (peace be upon him) is deeply respected in Islam as a prophet and the Messiah, but the belief in him as the Son of God is something Islam doesn’t agree with-it’s all about maintaining the absolute oneness of God. @@dumdumitru8536 1. In chapter 18 (chapter of the cave) when it speaks of Dhul-Qarnayn and his journey it tastes that the it appeared to him (Dhul-Qarnayn) that the sun was setting in a muddy pool. It wasn’t actually setting in a muddy pool it only APPEARED so to him. 2. The prophet Solomon, peace be upon him, could speak to animals and understand them, this is simply a miracle which God revealed through him. 3. In chapter 19, the chapter of Mary, when it says “Maryam ukhtu Haaroon”-“Mary, brother of Aaron” this isn’t referring to the prophet Aaron, brother of prophet Moses, peace be upon them both. The Aaron mentioned was simply Maryam’s actual brother who’s name was also Aaron and who was a pious man. Same name, different person.

This message is for those Christians who are genuinely interested in a dialogue. If you have ever read the Quran, you would have known that the Quran acknowledges the past book and prophets. So the stories are bound to be similar. Message has to be similar. Concept of God has to be similar, that is one and that’s what the Bible emphasise. Moreover, when Jesus came to the world, he did the same thing. His message is also the copy of the old message, he also acknowledges the past law, old prophets. All Muslims know that. When I came across the moon splitting, when I was learning about Islam...I certainly didn't believe it blindly. I thought about it how it's not a miracle...mere, as healing a person? Because that is beyond harder to prove...for how little it remains. But with this? It's the moon. And certainly there could've been more eye witnesses in the parts of the world where it was nighttime. But before that, as you're an ex-muslim I hope you know about the conquests and spreading of the Islamic world...how it began in the Arab, when the religion had perfected. And hence beyond it spread... But what if I tell you, that there is a mosque... situating in the south of India...that was built at a time when the prophet was alive? That's impossible... It sounds so impossible because Islam hadn't even flourished in the whole of Arabia...but there was a mosque in India? During Prophet's time? I searched further, and this is what I found...there was a South Indian king named chakrawati furmas. Who had witnessed the miracle while walking in his garden at nighttime. He was astonished seeing something impossible happening all of a sudden...ahead weeks he talked about it with his people and also the gypsies and nomads, who would go on telling the happenings of distant lands...they told him about an Arab Prophet. The king knew that it was the most possible things...because what he had witnessed was pure act of divinity. nothing could convince him otherwise. There he learnt about him...and eventually within months he travelled to Arabia, with his son...met the prophet and learnt about Islam, and accepted it...and came back to India...and established India's first mosque (that still stands there) (and is from the time of the prophet himself) Especially, when Islam hadn't even spread in the whole of...Arab. (How could all this had happened? Because of the moon splitting... because of the miracle).

We don’t really trust the preservation of the Bible or its ambiguous authors. 3. We don’t believe in the Christian morality of everyone having a “free pass” and no accountability because of the crucifixion of an innocent Man. 4. We love our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his message resonates with us, and clears up the above doubts of the previous scriptures.

There a people who can explain these points much better (Godlogic, Sam Shamoun for example). 2. Would contradict the whole Quran then tho no? Since its based up on the Bible. 3. Is not simple as you said it in this sentence from what i have learned. Also a Muslim friend who is very religious once told me, if you were to say "i believe in Allah" seconds before you'd die, you'd be welcomed into paradise. (if its genuine probably). I don't know if you have really looked into the explanation of the Bible, its verses, the Gospels, the whole story in context, the truth of Jesus Christ. I have watched many debates already and trust me, if i could, i would choose Islam 100x over Christianity since it resonates much more with me culturally, but i cannot deny these facts, the logic and the arguments behind Christianity!
