💯 relatable brother. I had similar experiences in my first ship too. I was alreat working 16-17 hrs a day (mrng 4 to evng 8) as a Deck cadet and above that when it started rolling I couldn't handle it. Was Physically and mentally exhausted. I could clearly get your feelings that time. Happy that you survived it. And I had 2nd off and 3rd off like brothers to support me at that time.

Ashish sir aapki almost saari story bhot hi amazing hai! Or aap khul kar merchant navy ke bare me batate h bohot acha lagta h. Sir I'm also AB. Sir ye wali story aapki bohot jyada achi lagi because 1st time ship par mentally or physically prepared hokar jana padta h isliye me bhi roya tha. Or sir aapki hindi + English combo language bolte ho isliye jyada ache se samajh me bhi aata h. Bas sir ese hi batate rahe kariye M. The problem is most of the TME when they join their first ship they are not mentally prepared about what there going to face rather they are not aware of it. Here on land watching youtube videos, things look adventurous. But when u join and enter the Engine Room and feel that heat of about 40 degrees, you are hit with the reality that life is not easy onboard. It is like our expectations are nowhere close to reality because most of the time people think about Travelling, Dollar, Food and obviously dreams of working on M/E😂. Only a very small amount of people try to find out about what are the jobs they are supposed to do and how is the situation on board.

I'm a deck cadet and i joined last month and jab main onboard aaya to maine bhi socha kya main yeh bridge saaf krne aaya hu fir sath bridge pe rho sath deck ka kaam kro 15-18 ghante kaam ho jata tha to main bahut frustrate hone laga starting ke kuch time sochta tha papa ka business shi tha but gussa thanda hone ke baad sochta ki maine choose kri hai yeh line so mujhe yeh sb face krna hoga kabhi kabhi chief pe bahut gussa aata tha tona aata gusse main but saamne nhi ro paya but ek din usne smjh liya ki main ander se bhar rha hu so usne mujhe smjhaya ki usne bhi yeh sb dekha during his cadetship and bridge pe aane ko nhi dete the usko but i got a opportunity to learn things on bridge time ke sath aadat ho jayegi yeh sb smjhaya to ek alag energy aayi and uss din se soch liya ki krna padega . But aapki or meri story same hai bss aap engine cadet the or main deck cadet hu . And thank you sir yeh experience share krne ke liye and ek himmat dene ke liye . Big respect for you. Thank you

Hello sir, As like you, during my first sailing I was vomiting continuously, every one is saying "eat fully,eat fully",but after getting vomiting I was not able eat,during that time I vomited blood also,during those days I was thinking that "why I came to this field" like that, but after few days I became normal.Now I am doing well. Yes,we are not aware of situations onboard before 1st ship,those whose family background is from merchant navy they are prepared before going onboard,your videos will definitely help those guys who are not from merchant background & going onboard first time (if they see).
