I like the way you talk about the good and less good sides of Japan always in a respectful way 👏

Coming home from work to your girl making curry. That's the life. I thought you said Japan wasn't a dream country?! 😂

16:35 I think it's hard to make friends almost anywhere, even in your own country. It's especially difficult if you're moving to a new country in your thirties. By then, most people already have their established social circles and families. In big cities you can feel extremely lonely. The neighbors don't know each other, no one wants to disturb anyone.

I totally agree with you
@hre20443 ай бұрын
That's very true. It didn't always use to be that way but due to the decline in institutions and the rise of social media, it's driven people into isolation. Also instead of everyone being somewhat normal in 1950, in 2024 there's serious political disputes and divisions, you can spot a leftist clique from a mile away.

Plus you had church and bigger families in which friendships were formed from cousins and aunts and stuff.

i've had the idea that it would be awesome to live in japan if i were to ever move countries, i love the architecture, the many parks and shrines, the general atmosphere, and besides im kind of a loner anyway so that aspect wouldnt affect me that much i believe, just need to learn the language some day ...and maybe find some area to work in there

I Started a new Job and basically i deliver Trash bins to the houses and today it was my very first day and time cuz i never did delivery jobs, i returned home with no energy (maybe it's the hot air of july) so now i know your struggles cuz those kind of jobs drains you like a sponge. the good part of this job is i'm with a co-worker but i feel like i'm too dumb for him idk. so yeah i have to resist until November cuz maybe i'll have the chance to meet a girl so that gives me energy and motivation XD.

Probably best would be to move with a friend or two at the same time. So you can have some people to fall back on before you find like a friend group there.

Respect for waht your doing, i just came back from a 3 weeks travel from Japan, i moved a lot in the country, was amazing but i saw the bad things as you mentionned; i want to do a pvt next year but like you said : Japanese peoples are really alone ( like eating alone at restaurant etc.. ) and if you go there and are excpecting to meet peoples and make a lot of friends, be careful ( even if everyone has different experience in their life ! ) i'm happy for you that you have your gf ( and she's cooking for you everyday ahah that's cool bro )
