I personally think what's stopping the png-tubers from branching out is due to some of these things; 1. They don't exactly have a sense of humor. -As said, they're all jellybean clones. Loud and not funny, also mildly infuriating. With their sense of Humor, no one would actually watch them ironically. 2. They're not able to branch out because of their audience -With their audience mostly attracting to cringey 4 yr olds, they can't really do much other than do what they've already been doing because that's what attracted their fans in the first place. 3. They don't try because they know that what they're doing now is going to get them views -Lmao do you srsly think they're doing it because they're genuinely enjoying making content? Most (most, not generally all) png-tubers (?) are using their fanbase, the said 4 yr olds to grow. They always say they made a huge mistake, but we sure as hell all know that they knew what they were doing, and that they were definitely expecting for the outcome to happen. 4. If they change content their audience will/might deteriorate -because of 3 and 2 5. They're just following the recipe for sweet success -Whether it's to be internet famous or something personal, they're following this path because they know that it is gonna get them famous -Damn, really wrote a long ass essay here, leave a like if you've read the whole thing xD

This epidemic of pngtubers is everywhere, on youtube, tiktok, twitter, discord, outside your house. Basically anywhere you go you cannot escape pngtubers. It's basically just become a trend now where you can easily get views by putting minecraft parkour in the background, be loud and obnoxious, have an artist draw a cat or something, put text up on screen, and a tweet or a youtube comment and a few other minor edits and boom a video. I was hoping the pngtuber trend wouldn't become a trend but my word it actually has, also Beak is correct about it all, great video beak.

I feel like the main draw of a PNGTuber is interacting with the audience, and that usually results in videos reacting to comments, engaging with the audience by asking favors/questions/etc and including them in the videos to boost more interaction/comments. The best way to gain and keep an audience is to interact with them and try your best to integrate them into your content while establishing a specific niche, wether it be the personality, or the PNGTuber design. I feel like the next step in the evolution would be to do more collaborative style videos with other PNGTubers (since the majority of them are mainly solo videos) so that might lend itself to more diversity and creativity.

IDK but maybe do longer vids and not shorts and put your PNG reaction on the bottom right or left to serve as a "facecam" But seeing the views on your longer vids maybe try to make shorts then slowly but steadily drop longer videos until your views on long vids become as high as your shorts BUT DONT TAKE THIS ADVICE ONLY CONSIDER IT BECAUSE I DONT DO YT BUT ONLY SEE WHAT STRATEGIES SOME BIG CREATORS ON FACE VALUE If you do actually "take" my "advice" then maybe don't scream 24/7 because I genuinely like KZbinrs who I could listen to while doing homework also also L+Mid+Bozo+Ratio

First of all, don't do youtube shorts don't scream don't try to get on popular topics don't do "HUGE MISTAKE" or "PFP ARMY" type videos, that will just start WW3. try to make your png character more ORIGINAL to say the least think of something creative, be unique don't use minecraft gameplay all the time. don't make unfunny jokes, and if you are unfunny in general, then don't make jokes.
