This is great information *and* a new spin on language learning that not many Language Learning KZbinrs are talking about. Great work! *And* comprehensive! Thank you for sharing!

"recovering perfectionist" so on point!!

Super interesting point of view. I think this is useful not only for perfectionists but for everybody. Even if you have the perfect method or material, one of the things I found is that it gets tedious over time. Language learning has to be consistently interesting for us to be able to acquire a language. Your project-based approach is also flexible for different types of students. I think you have a really good idea here. I'll try it out when teaching and when learning languages. Thank you very much.

Great video, Tanya. I keep my projects plain and simple. Whenever I find a book, I finish it (no time limit, at my own pace). I've been studying Japanese and have already read 10+ short novels this way...focusing on Manga more this year. P.S. I sent you an email, hope to hear from you.

@@tbenavente Na pewno mi się przyda! :) Also, I’m sure you already have more resources then you need ;) but I just can’t resist mentioning my favorite podcast in Spanish - Radio Ambulante - in case you feel like trying something new :) Can’t wait to see more of your videos!

I like how you are thinking 🤔I like the idea of having "language projects"...I am maybe not using that name, but I have something pretty similar 😄Great video Tanya!

Yeah, I've noticed from the comments I've received here and on Twitter that a lot of people are doing something similar, they just have a different name for it 🙃

Love this video! I'm learning Spanish and I'm curious as to what book you're using at 7:21? Looks great and would like to learn from that.

Hi, i just found your KZbin channel and watch some videos about your learning languages process. Its really help. I am struggling with learning English. I can understand almost everything in your videos and others youtubers BUT i can't talk like you ( i also think i can't have anything to talk about any subjects), SO pls make a video about how you learning English step by step and how you explore one subject more efficiency. Thank you very much.

Love this! I'm learning German. I'm curious what that German book you were leafing through!
@tbenavente Жыл бұрын
It's the German-English Bilingual Visual Dictionary from the DK Visual Dictionaries series. I'm not actively learning German at the moment, but I like the book so much I'm thinking about buying it for my other languages. So definitely would recommend!

I’m from Poland, and I think that Polish is so difficult. A lot of people have a problem with grammar and ortography, so at school we study a lot about it. Sorry, but I’m just 14 so my English isnt good ☹

I think it's a little easier for me since Russian is my native language, but yeah, I see what you mean -- Polish is definitely hard
