As someone who is currently looking to include GyroFlow in my workflow, this is THE BEST explanation of how to use it that I have yet found. Thanks!

Nice video, how do you manage low shutter speed gitter on GP?

Maybe you can film something in 2.7k 4:3 (what is a bit over 1440p), and put Smoothness to 0,1 , you don't lose quality right? If you want to upload it to KZbin in 1440p afterwards :)

wish gyroflow worked for me, no idea what lens i need to use for an avata 2
@American.AbandonedАй бұрын
are you using the latest build of Gyroflow? Mine automatically detects the Avata 2, but you have to make sure you're filming in 4:3 - Wide Camera - Rocksteady OFF

Is it possible to add stabilization to some parts of the video and not to other parts?
@Michelsen3K4 ай бұрын
You have to stabilize the part one by one

Super explanation, thanks. You can change the title. I thought you're using Gyroflow after Hypersmooth appplied to your footage. This might be your next video - Gyrowlof after Hypersmooth (if aplicable and worth it).

thanks for the title idea, I honestly had not considered that it could come across that way!

I like that I found this video after blowing $145 for Gopro Hypersmooth Pro - Gyro flow's software is WAYYYY better.

But you still get jitters on every step you take in the beginning of your video (check the trees). Using low shutter speed for natural motion blurr will cause jitters with hypersmooth/gyroflow, these action cames have digital zoom that relys on high shutter speed... I have action 4 and the jitters are even worse at low fps x2 shutter using build in stabilization or gyroflow.
@Michelsen3K4 ай бұрын
so your suggestion is to go with higher shutter speed?
@lauriL904 ай бұрын
@@Michelsen3K that helps yes. i use my cam mounted to helmet on motorcycle, i use nd filter and 30fps/60shutter with no issues. But if you just walk around and film, its different scenario.
@Michelsen3K4 ай бұрын
@@lauriL90 thanks mate! I've read nd filter might help. Don't know why, i'm not to deep into it. Anyway i'll order one for my gopro anyway :-)

@@American.AbandonedAnd here is the problem. Low shutter speed with ND filters footage brings blurries when stabilized in Gyroflow. Any advice? I have Hero Session 5 so I dont know how hypersmooth handles that problem.
