@throwawayjtp10 ай бұрын
Cooking begins a process called denaturation which will damage some of the protein structure and make the amino acids unavailable to break down and be used in other parts of the body. B-vitamins are also destroyed when meat is cooked. Many strains of bacteria cannot survive in high temperatures so they are also destroyed. We need these bacteria to assist the enzymes in metabolic reactions. Cooked meat is also constipation as the natural water content of the food is removed.
@asher572210 ай бұрын
@@throwawayjtp But it doesn't make the amino acids unavailable... Cooking meat increases the bioavailability of nutrients, which is how we are able to spend so much of our energy on our brain. Also it doesn't cause constipation. I've been carnivore for 14 years and never had constipation. Constipation is caused by eating fibre.

I often eat 2 or 3 bites of my steak raw before I cook it. I really savor it & haven't had any problems. I've been watching content like this for a long time, and I believe you guys. I just don't haven't found a trusted food provider yet. My transportation is also limited, so I haven't been able to venture to other locations to check out what they have. I get my steak from mainstream grocery stores. I don't know how safe it is to eat raw, as I buy conventional meat 90% of the time, not organic. The organic meats are heavily packaged in such a way that I trust them a little less than the conventional. Makes them seem shipped from even farther distances and potentially older .... I definitely need & want to find out more about eating raw steak. (Edit: These are questions I want to research. Not questions I'm wanting you to answer 😅) Is the conventional safe if you know how old it is? Is the organic more safe? Is it a lot more trustworthy if I do find and travel to a local butcher? I've taken a few bites of raw ground beef before and indeed it was delicious. But, I don't anymore, cuz, again, usual buy conventional & I've heard it has higher potential to have contamination than a whole piece of beef. But that's just me....
