Why I Enjoy Going to the Movies Alone
This video is more of a reflective/ introspective vlog.
For as long as I could remember, I've always enjoyed doing things by myself. Sometimes I made my mom nervous cause she thought it was something wrong with me lol, but that's just how I function. In addition to that, being an introvert means I cherish my time alone to think, reflect and understand myself better. Going to the movies alone is just one of the ways that I do. The video will explain more.
The way I see it, how can you expect others to enjoy being with you when you don't even enjoy being with yourself.

I go alone all the time. I enjoy it so much, I sneak my food in from whatever place I'm craving lol. Sit in the darkness and just watch a movie with no distractions. I love it

i can relate..... 😂😊 going to theaters alone is so much better 😊😊 same thing as eating at restaurants ..i eat slow , i take my time to eat.. no one to rush me & tell me "hurry up!!"

As an introvert I could relate so much myself to this I've always been there for myself doing things alone never mixed up into any groups or circles in a childhood times my fam and some of my class teachers and mates would often taunt me for being super quite and alone nobody understood me back in my college days I would often go to beach alone by skipping lectures where I would feel myself more in nature plug over my earphones and listening to music.. being in a lonestar state I do several amount of things by myself such as going to run, cycling, even going to movies, travelling and many more.. until later I met one dude and we turned on to be good buddies back in days we use to gossip a lot about marvels dc and lot of adventure activities we felt interestingly common about in each other we did ton of things together but later he got shifted to another place likely far from where I live but even tho he still use to manage to come over to his previous place and still we would carry up with our stuff before covid everything was running better and in steady state but now after covid he's kinda changed a lot in lockdown period we would mostly discuss on phone calls about the stuff and all we promised to meet up soon as lockdown gets over but now after it he doesn't tend to come up and meet over we even planned about to travel but he doesn't go along with it especially on weekends we spend an hour talking on phone calls only discussing i ask him everytime that what's wrong going? he says that's everything's ok we discuss on our topics and he everytime promises that we would meet up someday face to face just like that nearly an year passed out and from last almost 3 years we haven't seen each other's face.. it ain't like that we're not talking to each other the only thing is that he is not giving importance to our priorities i get mad on him most of the time trying to explain him but he never listens quite often giving fake promises and making me fall in the state of despair .. but it's ok now in the end it doesn't matter sometimes we shouldn't expect from someone to be out there for us we gotta let them go even tho we're being close for years but it's ok I don't really insist him anymore tho neither I don't keep any hopes from him so now mostly on phone calls we discuss normal whenever the topic gets rolled down to meeting up I immediately change it coz I don't wanna spill out my mad sting again which has been around my mind for years related to him I tried it out several times but u know some people would reach the word out into their own cell of mind and so the reason why I've lost my hope from him... well time will show up someday for now I'm just on living by myself staying blessed for what I have around😊 keeping faith in god.. and yeah i'm also gonna be going for avatar 2 obviously alone😄 which is releasing few days from now been eagerly waiting up for it.

Amazing video Harry!! I really love these kind of reflective videos because I can personally relate to you talking about how society judges you and the importance of finding acceptance within one-self for happiness. I have had countless conversations with my parents and with myself about topics like these and I am glad you are doing the same. After all with academics and social life, it's very easy to forget about the true inner self and thus, I feel that taking a step back and reflecting on being the true self is very important

That is very wise Harry. Everyone should spend time with themselves and they can find out who they are and do they like who they see? Also be in silence for some time. Silence creeps out too many young people which is unfortunate. 👍

I see approximately 200 Films a year IN THEATERS. And I very rarely go with someone. At 63 it makes no sense because I want to see the Movie and don't need someone who could potentially ruin experience. Also I like to sit super close and most people hate that. And I like to get there early even if it's Assigned Seats as I want to settle in and get my snacks in order. I want to experience the movie as it was meant to be seen. And when people say to me that's odd I always reply "When you read a book do you have someone join you???"

I could relate with everything you said... there were also lots of time, while growing up, I questioned lots of things about me And I guess you also do quite well in public speaking.
