Nice! Be careful not to fall into the classic “self help trap” of just learning about your problems VS solving them… 😉

My god dude, where did you come from? I literally found you at just the right time when I was ready to hear this. I have started to think some of these core ideas myself lately and you are just blowing my mind man with how far you are taking the insights and analysis. Just epic.

I get these moments of clarity, and everything spoken about from julian or other people in watch suddenly makes sense and I can see it..but then that voice in my head pulls me back, nonetheless it's a progress , and I'm learning a lot about myself and childhood trauma that has shaped my behavior . Letting go is really hard, in my head I can rationalize it, but im not driven, or my body doesn't agree.

I am non-neurotypical and always saying things that make me look eccentric. I don't know how to be normal, all I can do is authenticity. But that lack of knowing how to be normal tortured me for a long time. I would get praised for my authenticity and empathy, but simultaneously relentlessly criticized for having these good traits. When I was 20 and had no idea how to analyze any of this stuff, I was horribly confused about what others expect from me. "Bill, you're nice but you're just not competitive enough. Bill, you need to know when to be serious. Bill, the world is not a neutral place, you have to pick a side. Bill, you need to be more professional. You need to learned how to dominate over others." Now in my 30's, I've come to the point where I have completely exhausted myself with self analysis. I used to be perfectly comfortable with being myself, and I was wildly funny and wildly inappropriate. But somewhere along the way, I lost some of my spark in trying to figure out what others were expecting out of me. But come to find out, "they liked me because I didn't give a shit about what others thought of me." But the reality is I was just oblivious to the anatomy of my eccentricity. When I look back on my tender youth, I long for that unmeditated weirdness. Now, I am still very weird, I have just lost the pep in my step, and I was conditioned to be ultra-placative (and I also pay attention to politics now...gross).

There's a great quote that I used to say when I was younger, never realizing it's foundamental to not caring about what everyone else thinks: "It is what it is"

Quick confusion: I sometimes question myself laughing at myself and embracing it as putting up a front. It's like questioning myself "Am I laughing to hide it and stuffing it down?". I sense the answer is finding that thin-line difference about the place it's coming from.

The thing with COD is that theres no filters, u can be racist and all dark sht. All drama stuff partyl cus ure anonymous. so theres a full of expression. GL doing it in irl without getting punched in the face. Im currently working on being dramatic irl which sounds funny lol, but i dont think i will be racist in real life. So honestly im not as expressive. But its interesting in funny movies they do joke for example about chinese, like in hangover 12 and 3. I think it comes back to being aware what others are feeling. If u joke with a loose fun person ofc they dont care.
