Cool. I think the same way as you. I got the v6. I almost got the v8 but when I took the v6 out for a spin, it was fast to me because I had never driven a sports car. I had only been driving a Montana and sedan. The v8 was a lot more money and not worth it at the time. The gas mileage is decent too.

Bro why everyone hate on V6 muscle cars? I own a 2018 charger R/T... yeah the HEMI sounds mean af, but I will be the first to tell you I LOVE the sound of the V6 camaros!! They actually sound really good man and they come from the factory with what like 320 at the crank? Like wtf why hate on that most these people out here in old V8 cars not even pushing 300 to the crank lol. It’s crazy how people judge you on your engine size lmao. This world man.

Well to be fair you do feel a lot faster and can have more fun with under 300 hp in a classic. That being said these V6 Camaros are nice nothing wrong with them they sound pretty good and are quick.

I had a 17 Mustang 5.0 6 speed.. I have a great driving record have multi car discount and the insurance is ridiculous. Got rid of it after 2 years and now have a '16 Camaro v6 manual, fun as hell and was able to pay cash for it from a private seller that took really good care of it.

DAREAL CHEENO I started off with a muffler delete and I loved the sound when at idle. The day I heard someone drive my car off made me realize how horrible it really sounded. I upgraded and got a full catback exhaust x pipe and resonator delete. That opened up my car and adding a cold air intake made my exhaust sound even better. Once I was done with a few basic mods I added the trifecta tune and my car woke up and it's like driving a totally different car.

So you overspent for a name like Borla, and a cold air intake only delivers a couple degrees cooler, and definitely not a real improvement. Pushing a normal may sound sound good to your friends, but it really doesn't improve performance. If you seriously got the cash for afford maintenance then get yourself at least a 12

I too have a V6 2LT RS Camaro. A lot of people say they would have to have a SS. Well they don't. The payments, up keep, insurance is a huge difference. I just had new tires put on my car. That was 1,500.00 dollars. If it was a SS It would have been more. My car looks and sounds good. That's all that matters to me!

The difference between a V6 and a V8 is the fact, a V6 is something you can afford on your own where as V8s are for those who haven't for the most part made it on their own. Practicality is reality. Every month your shelling out money. Definitely, though gas and insurance. Not mention things that pop up. A V8 means your gonna pay alot more for just owning it. As long as I got the power to get me out of a fix like right now, I need nothing else.

Man I'm going through the same thing! I'm selling my 05 chevy Silverado lifted 6 inches on 35s and I'm about to get a v6 2010 red Camaro lol I just worry about not having a 4x4 and can't hual nothing. Do u miss having a truck and the comfort of know u have a 4x4 for the snow and stuff. I'm so stressed out about it and I didn't want a payment either cuz I own my truck. I subscribed man. John Mcglasson awesome! And I do miss my truck yes. Having a truck is very handy and having the “insurance” of having that 4x4 if you need it is definitely reassuring. I want to get a truck in the future in addition to my car however right now it wouldn’t be a smart move. Fortunately it doesn’t snow to too much here (still snows a couple times a year) but nothing like some states and cities. Worst case scenario I just won’t go anywhere obviously. But having a car is definitely more fun, and is a lot better on gas

Bob Sebring 9/10 people that add boost is not worried about the longevity of the car. boost is usually one of the last mods a guy is gonna do so it won’t be to long until he sells it and starts building some thing else

I've had my 2017 2SS Camaro for 2 years, and the lifetime average gas mileage for the 30,000 miles I've put on it is 24 miles per gallon!! Again, that's the lifetime COMBINED fuel mileage! 24 miles per gallon average!

I’m 18 and insurance is a bitch even for a v6 I pay about 300 on insurance and I have a 2013 Camaro v6 convertible and it’s modded I run about 4.7 0 to 60

Why not just buy both? That's what I did. I bought an SS as well as an RS. It's the best of both worlds. I get to choose what color car I want to drive that day, whether I want to drive a fast car or a really fast car, whether I want to get good gas mileage or throw caution to the wind and drive the SS that day. My SS is the Synergy Green which has been lowered on BMR 1.4's, it has a Cold Air Inductions intake, and it has been straight piped, and my RS is the 100% stock yellow Bumblebee.
