Only problem I see is roll racing seems to be the most popular racing now days. You also have to be loosing a whole lot of your top speed with 4:10 gears. I still have the utmost respect for that car. The 3.7 IMO is a very good motor. I bought one myself brand new in 2012. I put a tune in it and l had it put on the 93 tune with the top end speed limiter bypassed. It ran a 13:47 at the drag strip and while racing a 02 mustang down a 8 mile straight highway I glanced up at my garmin and it was showing 145 mph so I accelerated to the floor and I looked down at the speedometer and it was a needle with past 160 so I looked up at the garmin and it was showing 162 mph. I let off bc it scared me pretty bad. I checked the rear end gear ratio the next day and saw 2:73 so that and 305 Ho explained how it went that fast. I’m sure If someone reads this they will say I’m lying but that’s ok. Your welcome to your opinion. I have no reason to lie, I was just really impressed with the speed of the 3.7. U can get then with ceramic bearings and billet compressors for around 500-$700 depending on turbo of course. Iv built twin turbo builds for around $3000 doing work myself. That being said u have to be able to fabricate plumbing urself and tune of course. U can go to a tuner if ur not a tuner and still be saving money over a super charger kit. Turbos make more HP u can make more boost in most applications anyway. Dont lose power off engine like with super charger either. Let's ne real here, yeah, the Roush has a good chunk of power but these cars also had different stages. Is this the 575 hp or 600+ Roush? How much power is that 6 running? Gearing? It's got an auto that's been tuned to race, the supercharger and tune profile has likely been min/maxed for peak output and I'm supposed to be impressed that it won? I'm not. Slap a that same focus an attention on make the v8 car as optimal and it wouldn't be a contest. The GT350 is cool bug isn't tuned for dominant outright acceleration not to mention it's the heaviest car there. Impress me by having a car most people can afford to build in the v6 and have it go out stomping.

Easy, buy a better v6. I raced an early model 5.0 on the freeway, wasn't even trying to actually. I was just admiring his car, sounded mean, was clean as hell all blacked out. Then he punches it, which I didn't expect, his car lunged forward hard but I was still hanging no problem, then I passed him up. He pulls up next to me after, giving me props, he was like what kinda car is that? I say, not bad for a Kia huh? Cool old guy gave me the 👍

I have an 08 Accord 3.5L V6 VTEC 6 Speed Manual, I usually am able to walk most V8's on the road with ease if it is from a dig. Now on the highways going 60 or above, it is usually another story. My main goal is to get a turbo kit and tune plus a few mods. Anyhow, my Accord is pretty darn fast for a car rated at 271 HP & 254 lbs torque. It must be underrated from factory though.

For the v6 guys out there if your tired of the "BRRRRRR" sound you can make it sound like an older Porsche. Simply separate the exhausts from both banks. No x pipe, no h pipe, just true dual all the way back. Had it like that on my 300zx sounded like a 80s Porsche/DKS car from Tokyo drift. Try it out. I wanna see some vids cuz not many know about this. And before y'all go crazy bout "scavenging" that works much better with high rpm setups and you really won't find noticable power gains.

I strongly disagree on a couple of points, 1. Yes turbos are more complicated to install on a N/A engine yes vs installing a prefabbed S/C kit like the procharger, a centrifugal SC is essentially a belt driven turbo, which is going to rob the motor of some HP/TQ vs an equivalent turbo setup, now the manufactures are using turbos as a supplement for larger engines because under Obama the Government continued to increase CAFE standards to ridiculous levels, and thus caused OEM's to make turbo 6's instead of N/A V8s or turbo 4's instead of V6's etc and so in the 2010s and now most cars have smaller engines across the board to meet the higher MPG mandates while keeping HP/TQ high enough to not make everything slower then dirt, the OEMs are not using S/Cs because they wouldn't be able to offer the increased MPG and the added HP./TQ for the new smaller engines, and for a lot of these newer Turbo cars their has been a ground swell of after market support because tuners can easily change the engine tune to make a lot more power in lieu of some of their MPG, the OEMs aren't stupid, they know turbos are a better more efficent option then S/Cs and thus why they opted to turbo. Now yes, if your not mechanically inclined and are going to pay a shop to install everything, something like a procharger kit makes more sense because it will cost you less to just have your shop install that then fab up a custom turbo kit, but a properly configured turbo is still more efficient and will offer greater flexibility as it will allow to be more mild mannered and increase your engines HP and TQ and probably even increase MPG too like how stock turbo cars are set up, or you can have a big single turbo for max HP, or for something in-between with a twin, bi or twin-screw set up that can create a ton of high end HP and low end TQ still might get you an extra MPG when you don't absolutely floor it. Check out sloppy mechanics, they do some incredibly powerful, cheap turbo builds all the time. 2. Gears A boosted V6 is going to make a huge amount of low end TQ, thus if combined with a taller set of gears like 4.10 you suggest is probably going to be useless, its going to make your car just blow up tires from a dig and depending on when in the RPM band your car makes peek HP/TQ it might make you car shift out of your power band at a bad time, you need to seriously consider your engines power band before changing gears. Too much gear and your SC V 6 is going to do just what the SC V8s do from a dig and just spin your tires and making your 0-60 time and 60ft time either pleateu or slower. if your looking to make a SC V6 a real killer 0-60, you need 1. a high stall Torque converter, this give you huge off the line gains, another great mod would be an aluminum drive shaft that will cut weigh, and let your engine actually rev faster, and smoother, then you want to look at suspension, wheels and tires. A good set of upper & lower control arms will help the car shoot out of the hole with less jerkiness and less wheel spin, then you want widest best tires you can get to put your power down, other weight reduction mods can help, namely light weight rims and other light weight suspenion parts like tubular k members or any other weight reduction, also shifting weight like getting your battery relocated into your trunk if its under the hood in you car still.

Lol, it would be nice to have a fast mustang like this one and I always love the way people do the outside paint(plastidip?)of their cars like this one, I liked the video but its not for me😏.
