KZbin's priority these days are to kill accurate information if it means pushing mindless content instead. Why do you think they removed the dislike button? They hate "to-the-point" informative content that doesn't trigger immediate pipelines of binge watching. Here's some advice on making PROPER content to follow their guidelines: Trim it down to 30 seconds, make it less informative, flip it to a vertical video, put in lots of cuts, shout loud emphasized keywords, paint it with big colorful autogenerated captions and it would have gone on trending instead of getting a strike. 😂

You pretty much nailed it on the first half, its an automated "ai" powered moderation bot that basically just flags videos, they removed the reason box because the bot is dumb as bricks and cant reply and they dont want to bother checking every single video that gets flagged by the ai. Again the bot is really stupid and even just a video thats named in a way the bot will find words on the title and corelate it to a list of banned keywords, in these cases it could of been "click every download button", "discord grabber", both of those are very likely on the instant ban list.

The same applies to KZbin's comment filter. It doesn't technically remove our comments but they are hidden in the default view, only visible if you look at the comments via the "newest first" view. And the algorithm is completely arbitrary. You aren't notified. I think it even applies to channel owners. You never know if your own comment is shown to anyone and why (not). A randomness generator would do a better job.
@DavidJCobb11 күн бұрын
hidden comments aren't generally visible in Newest actually. sometimes there's a delay before your comment appears, in which case it may appear in the time it takes to change the sort, but if you _do_ get unpersoned by the site's buggy filters, your comment should only show up if you view your google account's privacy records
