Why I got distracted again! ~ Life Story Update & sharing Christmas Doll Gifts

This is the story that has been happening since October, to once again keep me away for the majority of my crafting and doll time.

My doll family is important to me and so is my little immediate family. Sometimes I only have the time & energy to dedicate to one.
Hope you all are proud of us for that end pic! It has been quite a year, to commit to change into a new lifestyle. I sincerely hope I’ve personally been a good role model to my daughter and can maintain the commitment.

This video gives me ALL of the feels! ❤️ I am SO happy that you were able to start your retirement dreams early. You are a woman after my own heart. I have been researching camper vans for almost two years now because I want to start going on mini trips with my two girls on the weekends and during their school breaks. I love the idea of visiting different places and being outside more with them. I’m glad to see that y’all had a good Christmas with family. That’s what this short, blessed life is all about. I would love to see a tour of the inside of your camper (side note: it’s shape reminds me so much of the barbie a-frame house) and maybe even a day in the life. ❤️ Finally, you and Alex look SO happy. Especially when you showed the before and after picture at the end. In the second picture you can see all of the positivity that your healthy life change has made. It’s in your faces but both of you also look a lot younger and healthier in the second picture as well. I’m looking forward to seeing what you share with us on your channel in 2019. ❤️

OH wow, thank you for a wonderful comment!!! Whew...so glad for some who will understand why I shared this mostly non-doll related content. And sharing that you have similar ideas!!! Having daughters... you understand also why I want to be IN her life as much as I can for connection and influence for as long as I can, before that changes ;) We could not be happier! I will say I do hope to add a tour and maybe a day in the life video for those like yourself that are just interested in us personally. But will keep it at only that. This channel is not doing well as it is... I doubt it will handle a whole different kind of content. If we were to explore that, as I pondered, it would need a new channel and quite honestly I just do not want to do it. I am selfishly just gonna enjoy our weekend trips and ignore my phone and online stuff :) YOu are right on for why we chose the small one too. Not just to fit in our garage but also that main point.... the camper is to sleep (I cannot do tents, I don't feel secure to sleep, and ick, bugs!)and the rest of the point is to do all we can OUTSIDE!!! Being small forces us outside which was my goal! I failed to add that these campers are hard to find.... so that was another reason we jumped on this unexpectedly. This seller said they get about 2 a year. Its a niche market and those who love them usually do not get rid of them! Also this one was 4 years old and looks like the previous owners barely used it! IT is far roomier than you would imagine. It has a double size bed and a dinette that is good sized that we keep in the bed position for Grace. it is a bit bigger than a twin. Also has a fridge, stove, sink, heater, a/c and microwave. That dinette will be handier later when it is just Alex and I. I really hope you can get to your dream too on this! It has been good for my soul I tell ya! Words cannot explain that for me. I have never enjoyed washing dishes like i have while enjoying the quiet and seeing that view! A van may be easier in many respects for quick trips as we have been learning. save the whole trailer learning curve. Although ours is best scenerio for easy tow vehicle, easy to tow when flat, weight and hauling rules. Have to also admit, my brain was feeding off learning something new too :) Next camp we get figure out if we learned well about how much water we can bring and making it last! What a good lesson all in itself for the teen and us! In the end... thanks again lady friend!! Your comment got me all kinds of excited for us and for you! Feeling better by being healthier and dropping some weight and bad blood numbers has changed us both dramatically inside and out! Totally, no regrets!

Another quick note here... This is the closest video for a tour of just the space and and interior of the a-frame closest to ours. Different name, same company. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGiYimqFiMmKoa8 W 1:30 to 6:55 shows the bulk. If you watch it in full, we do not have that front metal storage area. You know i have been figuring out stuff for our inside to be personal and fixed up with some little projects to make our space even better suited. SO I will show a tour when I feel like we got it all...one big one was a privacy curtain for us 2. Now that we have experimented and are happy, we will prob add one for Grace too..

Gracias por mirar aunque no pudiste entender. Básicamente estoy explicando lo que sucedió en nuestra vida por qué una vez más dejé de hacer cosas de muñecas. Alex y yo tuvimos un sueño de retiro para viajar a los Estados Unidos en una caravana y verlo. Luego tuvimos la idea de tener una caravana antes y aventurarnos más lejos para excursiones de senderismo. ¡No hago carpas! Ja ja Queríamos aprovechar que Grace tuviera su edad. Ahora y con ganas de hacerlo con nosotros. Pues resulta que ella realmente ama el aire libre. Con eso tuvimos que hacer esto ahora, mientras tenemos el margen de tiempo que ella aún quiere salir con nosotros. No puedo recuperar ese tiempo. En el camino hacia este sueño, obtuvimos el vehículo usado que podía tirar del remolque de esta manera. Un cuadro que queríamos y para nuestra sorpresa, había uno muy cerca del estacionamiento de automóviles en un estacionamiento para caravanas. Básicamente, este video muestra y dice que dejamos todo para hacer que su autocaravana suceda ahora. Tampoco son fáciles de encontrar, ya que este fue porque aquellos que les gustan, los aman y casi nunca los revenden. Agrego que compramos esto en octubre y nos ha costado mucho aprenderlo todo sobre la limpieza, el embalaje y el transporte y todo lo que implica cómo acampar y viajar. Cerca solo hasta que nos pongamos más cómodos. Sin embargo, anotehr razón por la que esto tomó todo mi tiempo últimamente. Hemos hecho 4 viajes de campamento hasta ahora, incluyendo el Día de Acción de Gracias y la semana de Navidad. No me arrepiento de haber dejado de hacer cosas de muñecas para crear recuerdos de nuestra familia y seguir conectándome con mi hija. Ese es mi trabajo más importante como mamá ¿verdad? Te amo dama amiga! XO Espero que todo se traduzca bien.

This sounds awesome. I think is a great idea to start your retirement early while Gracie is still wanting to be with you guys. It goes by so fast, first they can’t wait to be with mommy and daddy. When they are little drive you crazy, they jump all over you end up hurting you at times and then it stops. It becomes all about their friends and you get to be with them for a minute or two. Good for you guys. You look amazing.I’ve been missing your videos.

@@NefertitiJonesaw LOL! Glad I am not the only one. I sound really arrogant the way I worded that and as if I am against tents. It is more that I do not feel secure in them and would never be able to sleep well. Without sleep, I would never be a happy camper!! LOL Not to mention bugs...I can handle bugs in regular life but the thought of them easily crawling on me while sleeping is another thing to add to my not sleeping well. Not to mention venturing to other areas with bear and stuff. Screw that! LOL Lo and behold it is a plus because some wild parks do not allow soft sided camping so that is also a plus here!
