I got a breast augmentation, they became more uneven with the surgery. I just got them removed and I have huge scars and my breast tissue is way different. It solved 0 insecurities it just is expensive. You get more focused on your appearance not less.

But I’m glad I didn’t like the way they looked because it encouraged me to remove them. And now I’m soooo much happier with my natural breasts

Also yes I totally agree with you at the end that our insecurities are something that we will always have to deal with and plastic surgery doesn’t really fix it. I believe that surgery can’t really fix our features because it’s just the way our body is and the results will never come out perfect. I have a friend who wanted to get double D’s for her breast surgery and the dr said she didn’t have enough breast tissues so she just ended up with maybe a C cup but she still wears push up bras to enhance it more. I think if you guys choose to do surgery just accept that some of your features might be hard to change and that it won’t come out perfect the way you want. Not only that but beware of future health issues these procedures will cost you.

When Krystal said her eyes were uneven, I laughed a bit. I have one eye bigger than the other without plastic surgery! Krystal's eyes look very symmetrical, I can't see any difference between them. With or without plastic surgery, your eyes are beautiful Krystal!

Omg the Korean beauty standards😭 Literally anytime I see my Korean family (I live in Canada) they would call me « Pig » or « Fattie » . My weight is 110 lbs and my height is 5’2. Even if they don’t say that in a mean way, but in a friendly/funny way, it still hurts me! Growing up as a Korean in an almost all white high school was also so difficult for me. I can totally relate to why you got the surgery. I got my eyes and nose done too, mainly because of how I was the one seeing my face everyday and that I wanted it to look more of how I wanted, but I also cant deny that it did have something to do with the fact that in the asian culture, you get little comments here and there since an early age and it was always at the back of my mind. i'm saving money for a nose job right now. it's a lot of money to me and i'm scared it might get botched...but i can't look at myself without telling me my nose destroys my potential of being the prettiest i would ever be. I have never had plastic surgery but can relate to the feelings you are describing. I have a really big nose, that even members of my family tease me about. I used to be self-conscious, and sometimes still slip into that thought pattern, but now I just own it. For me, I own it by making light of it and even laughing about it. This is just my experience and everyone's experiences are different. There is no judgement on which direction you choose to take. I would suggest digging deep down and asking yourself, would this surgery truly make me happy? I know from experience that the voice that tells us "it's your nose that's the problem" is a lying voice that society has made us to believe.

@@LizzyAlexis sorry for being so late and thank you for answering to my comment. in fact, i'm very well aware of the society's impact on my mentality and my vision of myself. i know that the eurocentric beauty standards is what made me insecure about my nose, that's why i've been debating so much about getting surgery. i know that on one side, i will probably never get over this insecurity so i sometimes just tell myself fuck it, i only have one life, why living with insecurities if i have to power to make them disappear? but on the other side, i also tell myself that my features are my heritage from my culture, my ancestors and my parents and i don't want to give in to what society actually wants me do to. i want to prove i can be pretty without a small button nose... at some point, i've also came to the conclusion that i acknowledge liking myself, even with my nose. i live with it and sometimes i even feel the prettiest ever, with the same nose i've always hated, so i believe getting surgery would only be a question of looking better.. here's my constant struggle, i guess i will get my answer by growing up! i'm only 16 so only time will tell me, i still have so much time to think about all of that

Thank you so much for this video. I really really took your advice about not getting surgery if I am trying to cover up my insecurity or just getting it to not be insecure anymore. I really appreciated that advice and how raw and true your advice and video were. I took on your advice and really thought about it before doing surgery. To be honest you look great! I wouldn't even think you had any surgeries done and overall everything looks symmetrical and right for your face. Sometimes we tend to be too critical about ourselves with the smallest of things and make them bigger than they actually are. Got mine done in Japan and my eyes were $1.3k, chin and cheek lipo was $4k and then I had facial threadlift and botox to give a better result and it was about another $4.2k. Im 3 weeks post op for face and 10 months for eyes so im still swelling on my face but my eyes are good now. I was planning on going to Korea before covid. I had the place and the procedures planned out but with the travel restrictions I had to find one here. I wish I could've done it in Korea because the experience, customer service and overall skill is better.

About the uneven eyes. Mmmmh I have natural double eyelids, both eyes inout lines eyelids but when I sleep too much or too little, my right eye becomes an out line eyelid and it took days/weeks to go away, so maybe your eye i still swollen(? Or there is the option that you are right about not getting the results that you expected. Anyways, nice video and thanks for sharing such important info about that topic!💙

5:43 I had once long cotton in my nose because I had a nosebleed for 2 hours because someone from my class purposely kicked the ball to my face. Nose wasn’t broken however the top of the bridge feels as if it has splintered, it feels weird like cracks and a bump? The doctor told me that I had to take the cotton out after.. a day? Or 2? I can’t remember it was a long time ago and when I did try to pull them out it started to itch so bad that I sneezed it out 😂 I was so worried I would get a nosebleed when that happened!

I got jaw Botox too. The side effect your talking about is when the doctor puts the Botox not into the masseter muscle (where it is supposed to be) and buts it in the muscle that control smiling and other facial expressions. So it relaxes those muscles, makes them weaker and even paralyzed them in some instances. I’m glad that went away though bc it could have lasted longer. Getting someone experienced is so important.

The "jaw Botox" is usually done in the masseter muscles to relax them so that they will temporarily get smaller. The Botox may have migrated to the Risorius muscle, which pulls the mouth out sideways (laterally) when one smiles. The Risorius is inward (medial to) from the masseter muscle.

Many i know got double eyelid surgery, and they say that their eyes water up alot and that the skin on the eyes starts to droop faster. I wanna get mine done mainly because my eyes are very uneven, one got double eyelid and other dont(comes and goes).

I hope everyone not copy surgery procedure. Bcoz u have to be yourself and accept yourself different with others and not be someone else .. imaging in one area the face are same all bcoz surgery and follow trend thats not good at all being same like others people. And be different was beautiful especially purely u was born with face your have it. You just need to take care and don't change anything. Thats my message for people who need to be different without surgery problems community which is Will be harm people one Day. Thank you.🙏

the more you see "flaw" in your body, the more you insecure. we are just humans with a lot of flaw. you are beautiful, and i dont see anything wrong with you. you have very beautiful skin (mine is acne prone with acne scars). you mentioned that jaw surgery is dangerous... is this something i should avoid and get chin liposuction instead?

i only think it's dangerous because a couple years back i heard someone died while getting the procedure done. but this is just one case and i'm pretty sure there are people that had good results. i would say it's a more complicated process since they are working with the bone structure rather than just taking out the fat. i know someone that got facial contouring (not jaw surgery) a year ago and her some parts of her face are still numb. (side effect of the surgery) that's why i didn't even consider jaw surgery or facial contouring (so i don't know much about them) liposuction doesn't change your face structure though, it only gets rid of the fat around it, so lookswise, i wouldn't say it makes as much of a difference than getting jaw surgery or facial contouring. but i would say liposuction is cheaper and less painful (for most people) if jaw surgery is something you really want, do a lot of research and look for a good hospital for it! and know that there can be side effects.

Krystal Oh do you think cheekbone reduction is safer than jaw surgery. Personally I want to get the cheekbone surgery because of my bone structure but I don’t think i “need” any jaw reduction surgery. The only things I have read about the cheekbone reduction for the most part is the possibility of cheek drooping. The clinic I am looking into cuts and rotates your bone inwards do reduce the size of your side cheekbones, rather than actually removing bone from your face. Thank you so much!

Would be good to see a before photo. Ask Elle Mcpherson, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Hawkins etc, they all have something they are not happy about their face, and believe me your eye look beautiful, so nothing to worry about. I am looking for info for double eye lid procedure, what is the difference between in, out and in-outline,please?.
