I like duolingo as it's interactive but the way it's set up is the worst

i dont like the way duolingo teaches tbh, i too started learning japanese and i started a year ago! did i learn something? yes, but i feel like i would be way more advanced now if duolingo didnt teach the way it did, i agree with the fomo part too i got 400 day streak before i finally decided to delete this dumb app

@@MiniMasterGG well i kind of quit learning japanese i do plan to return to it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND busuu though! I liked it more than duolingo because it actually started me off with stuff I actually needed to learn like introductions instead of learning how to order at a restaurant 😭 It has a streak system BUT they dont really shove it down your throats like its a requirement I think the only bad thing might be that there are ads but its not annoying
