The south has the most govs in the PDP, yet they failed to bring the presidential slot to the south. Okowa was the leader of the southern govs forum, who would secretly go behind the others and leak every move and plans to Atiku Abubakar. In the APC, despite the North had the most govs, was able to accept power should return to the south for equity, fairness, and justice. Those southerners who still believes Atiku, a northerner, and fulani should succeed Buhari, who is also a northerner, and fulani needs to have their heads examined at the psychiatric.

If Osibanjo believed in the vision of better Nigeria for all Nigerians he would have resigned long time ago on principle of failure of the administration to uphold and safeguard lives and properties of Nigerians. He did not emerge as the presidential candidate because he was out done in the transactional politics of the APC. A genuine person who cares about Nigerians will not allow himself to be found wallowing in the current mess regardless of the fact that they party was courageous to zone the presidency to the south. If Osibanjo really cares about good governance in Nigeria he would have ensured that a fit and proper presidential candidate emerged from the south. Doing the right goes beyond just zoning the presidency to the south given that the deficiencies are all before our eyes. Hence, Obi/Datti remains the best option.
