I just started learning to code this month. After working traditional job for years, I know it isn't for me. My intuition told me before that coding is for me but I ignored it. Now that I'm in my 30's, I know it's never too late to learn. And I could say that it fits to my personality too. I've been watching your videos, and you inspire me to keep going. Thank you 💚☺️

I am a mechanical engineer. I learnt to code to automate single things with c# like batch converting and merging lots of files into PDFs because i wouldn't be able to use commercial products in my workplace coz they are expensive. Now i'm trying to create my own ERP on .Net Core for our welding fabrication manufacturing company. It's nowhere near commercial products but hey i'm making constant progress and learn a lot of new concepts about full stack web developement along the way. I am happy.

I am 14 and i started coding with 10 years with scratch. With 12 years i started programming in python and became addicted soon after. One day i saw a video from Dani and i decided to try game dev with unreal engine but i only tried that for three months and got back to python where i made 2 pyqt5 apps. Then in March i started learning web technologies and with the pandemic giving me a lot more time i managed to learn html, css and javascript and i made a tic tac toe app(best-tic-tac-toe-game.netlify.app/). Then i learned React, scss and typescript and i started making a big project with a friend. And now i am really really addicted! It is so fun! It is a shame i dont have too much time with school and stuff

Exactly. Leverage. Non-tech example: I spent $100 on a certification class to become a motorcycle instructor for my state BMV. Applied, got accepted, completed the course requirements and passed the exams. Now I’m a (seasonal) motorcycle instructor making $26/hr. One time fee of $100 and about three weeks of training nets me about $10,000-$12,000 per year part time, having fun. Thanks, Kalle, for the inspiration and guidance. The leverage is exactly what cued me in to learning to program. - Ben

I did not have any experience in programming, but I always dreamed of being an engineer of space rockets someday. I memorized the names of rockets and spacecraft and soon discovered that building any rocket needed to know how to program. I looked at the coding contents and suddenly I found myself among Code lines , I liked it very much, I think that the best thing about it is that every programmer begins his journey by typing "how to code" in Google, then he loves it and coding becomes a way to live for him in the future...

I said that it's okay because anything about technology and innovation, I am very passionate. Life has given me choices before and technology is the onlyone where I just knew it. So, I might pursue working with software, since web developing and web designing is the first one that was thought to me.

That’s funny! At my old job I often slouched with my feed on the desk. Reading a comic or just listening to music. A new customer came in and for the tour and he asked my manager: “is that normal here? Shouldn’t he be chopping away on the keyboard?” My manager said: “I’m worried when Ray is hammering on the keyboard, because then something is seriously wrong. He automated all systems monitoring and alerting and even implemented proactive healing of systems, so we can serve 1000s of servers and 100s of customers with 25 people and do better than IBM can.” I hired a kid without papers when he said: “I’m really lazy and that’s a good thing, as I tend to automate things”. My manager laughed and looked at me and said: “we found you a mini-me! Let’s talk money!” 10 minutes later he was hired.

If you decide to try brilliant.org out be aware that the trial automatically goes into a one-year subscription for 86.62 euros (in europe, might differ elsewhere). Which I think says something about the company, something not so good. When I’d realized my mistake and emailed them they refused to give me a refund. I then tried to get them to only charge me for the months that had passed which they also refused to do even though they could clearly see I hadn't used the service at all since the trial. This is clearly part of their business model which I find very questionable. I'm a freelancing artist who started this trial while being in quarantine, this extra expense is not fun right now.
