i am not bullshitting: THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE THE PHILIPPINES. basically, i've travelled, seen and experienced the world... 1) lived in europe for over five years - europe is the land of the ruins of medieval castles - italy, france, germany, spain, russia, uk, greece, turkey, etc... 2) north america is the 'land of capitalism' at its best. lived in north america for over three decades - US, canada.... 3) visited south america - mexico, costa rica, nicaragua, etc...4) traveled africa, kenya, etc.. loved the safaris and the fascinating african culture. 5) down to australia, the south pacific, etc... last but not least, 6) asia - japan, korea, thailand, singapore, hongkong, taiwan. FINALLY, after seven decades of roaming around looking, i found my nirvana from the very place i was born and taken for granted! but i'm coming back to re-live and get re-acquainted with my roots.

I have a best friend who lives in the Philippines and she is beautiful! I’m using a language translator to teach myself the Filipino language. She speaks English very fluently and I tell her i love her in her native tongue Mahal din Kita

I have travelled to the Philippines now for nearly 40 years I have a philipo wife for 34 Years have been lucky enough to travel to many countries. I now have a house in the Philippines for our retirement the western world has become far to expensive to live in and the people lost all manners and respect and become aggressive and angry. The Philippines is a beautiful country and the people there still have manners and respect and welcome you with a smile.

Brian I would like to introduce to you Efren Bata Reyes, a filipino player one in the world, so far best in the game of pool. He conquered the world of pool and is famous even in America. He beat the known pool champions in all parts of the world. He must be retired by now but his videos are in the you tube. That could be another way for you to entertain yourself while in BGC on your spare time.

You're from Oregon? I visited my sis there. You have beautiful state but also a sad downtown. In Portland, there were drug addicts roaming like zombies. I was so frightened as I was exploring on my own. It felt safer in Tondo, honestly. But the nature and parks were definitely out of this world beautiful.

Try going to America and stay for a while if you have the opportunity. Make sure to bring enough money because living in America is not a joke and if you plan to look for a job don't expect too much you might end washing dishes or cleaning the toilet or gasoline attendant.
