In Canada, same issues. We have personal support workers shortage in hospitals and in community care. They are so important in hospital settings. A relative should not have to change diapers, or have relative lying down for hours in soiled diaper.

@@ib4038 i miss the hospital sometimes but I remind my self of how it is. Tho I feel like they are pushing the problem elsewhere. I work at a rehabilitation center and we are getting people who are so sick they shouldn’t have left the hospital. They are too sick to be sent home and they send them to us. So it’s not rehabilitation anymore. It feels like a small hospital of elderly home and many are doubting if this is what they signed up for.

Your compassion is beautiful. Youre a good nurse. The medical systems seems more interested in prioritizing profit over care. My relatives started as nurse assistants and then to LPN to RNs. They loved people. Youre fortunate to find an employer where you feel valued. ❤ Thank you for remaining in the field. So many good nurses are leaving, and its frightening to go to hospital. Good video. 😊

@@Milly_in_denmark One of my concerns is the "nutrition" and after an over 3 day stay, potentially leading to unnecessary rehab. So I've got to keep moving, right? Exercise a necessity.

I an a nurse in the United States. I am now retired. The things that you are talking about are the same things that are universal in nursing. It is terrible. I disIcourage anyone that is thinking about being a nurse. I was a nurse for 46 years and am glad that I am able to retire.

I agree with you on the documentation of nursing,. I worked as a CNA for over 20yrs and did not want to be a RN. I saw all of the thing they went through ,and I could not do it. Nursing is a high pressure job. That job was not for me.Any big mistake you make you can lose your license. I can't work under so much pressure.Than God I retired just before Covid hit.

The biggest problem in nursing is that they give you too may patients and you don't have a enough time to get everything done. I saw the pressure that the nurses were under and I said to myself no way Will I be a nurse.

Hi Milly ! Thank u so much for sharing your experience. How can we search for job opportunities in rehabilitating centres? are there any specific websites? Thank u so much ! Looking forward to your future videos !

Thanks for watching dear. But unless you already are in Denmark, that’s not possible. But if you are a nurse already, there is a video on my channel of how to get licensed. It’s under nurse life.
