@@myrtisallotey8928 I live here 60% of the year - Ghanaians want their economy to be like this - If not they would make and buy Ghanaian products to consume & export - Instead you all clamour for foriegn made goods - I just watched a video of Ghanaians importing coconuts from China, buying them at shops instead of purchasing from street vendors - Your valuation will stay low as long as you all choose to value foreign goods - When I go to markets I have to beg for Ghana produce - Tired of people selling me Italian tomatoes, filler laden chinese tomato paste, 2nd hand clothing worn by foreigners - Your currency is devalued because you don't value it or your own resources - Any1 can come to just about any Ghanaian and offer them pennies and take any resource to sell for thousands - It's all about perspective - Go to Japan or Kuwait and try to dig something from their yard for pennies

It's conditioning that needs reconditioning! The only receiving mentality is one of the reasons why we tend to think it's 'outsiders' who are better suited to make Gh stand on its feet. We wait for outsiders to drill boreholes for us, build a library or fix broken furniture in our schools, etc. etc.: things that communities could address through local fundraising efforts.
