Louise - keep moving to your own vibe. Same happened to me when I moved to East Coast from San Francisco. Friends became soooo ummmm not in my best interest for what I had planned for myself. It was really weird because you trust folks and then you feel suddenly betrayed. Your lens will become clearer as you settle in. Continue to trust your own energy and yourself. That little boy is absolutely adorable ❤. All the best to you and your son in 2023!

if you ever get frustrated there you can always move up to puerto rico or the virgin islands (im from there) you can still use your citizenship and benefits. spanish is easy to pick up. you should not worry about hurricanes. i left st thomas when i was 14(my siblings were starting high school/college) and our lives never stopped because of the weather. so any island in th region will suffice. not grenada as there is an active volcano on that side.

Hooray a fellow single mom all these couples leaving the US making me doubt I can do it alone...... I just want to cry from all this need to live somewhere better and safer with my kids. It is all races...I am white and I am physically attacked by crackheads in the park and stores! You look amazing and I am so happy for you guys!
