My boyfriend and I are long distance and we're only an hour apart during DST (November to March), and then when it shifts, we're 2 hours apart (March to November), but even so, the time difference is difficult to handle sometimes. One night, I woke up and couldn't breathe because I missed my dad (who passed away in 2019 and was my superhero) and I couldn't stop crying. I could barely breathe, it was 3:30 am and no one else was awake. I laid there for what seemed like hours because I couldn't move. I was finally able to move after an hour and picked up my phone to call him. He answered, despite it being around 3 am for him at the time when I called him. He calmed me down, helped me relax, and made sure I was gonna be okay before hanging up and going back to sleep. We celebrate our anniversary on February 9th, and I couldn't be happier.

Eyyy, that's so cool! My girlfriend and I are also long-distance, only one hour apart time-zone wise. Our time-zones used to be way different when she lived in the US, like 10 hours apart. This is the first year we are so close time-wise since she's moved to Norway [she's only been there a couple months], and it's honestly been really hard to get used to despite the fact that we were both very excited. I still wish I could talk to her in the hours of the night, between 1-3 AM, like I used to. Whenever I get the urge now I remember she's sleeping like a normal person, unlike me xD. I also get more energy to be social in the afternoon towards night, so talking in the morning while we both get ready for college has been a challenge for me to say the least. But I love her very much, and I'm so excited for our anniversary coming up on the 8th of February, just a day before yours! I hope you two have a great time this Thursday!

My now-fiancé and I started dating while he was in the Marines and he was stationed in Japan for the first two years of us dating. When I tell you this man was on FaceTime with me as many part of the day as he could, he DID. Ladies!! If a man wants to, he WILL!! He even flew from Japan multiple times to come meet my family, be with my on holidays, and my birthday:) Then he was relocated to the east coast and still without a beat, was on call with me ALMOST 24/7, then he went to Europe, which was a little harder, but he still was there, on call, at all times as much as he could :)

Me and my partner have a 15 hour time distance, and on bad days like when I found the cat I was cat sitting dead, he sat on the phone with me till I slept, and stayed on the phone all night just incase I woke up. Then we did the same with him so he could be there if I needed him. It is one of the sweetest things he's ever done. And I know that he wouldn't even think twice about it.

I wake up everyday at 2am just to call my girlfriend who lives in CST and is 3 hours behind. She gets off work at 11pm but in my time that's just 2am. Everytime is worth it, I love her so much and she really makes me feel loved. After we graduate college, she plans on moving in with me (In just 2 years!! How exciting!!) and by that time, we'll be 21! Any time I can spend with her is time I cherish dearly. She is the one person in my life to ever make me feel this way, and she's the girl I want to marry. We met in 10th grade and graduated highschool together. She's wonderful & after our 4 official years together on April 10th, I have a plane ticket to go surprise visit her. I'm so lucky to have a person like her in my life.
