hi, be sure to clean your chimney, before the snow.and get some straw bales, for the chicken.so there warmer in winter.and you need to clean the stuff around the chicken coop.

Sounds fantastic to me! Gardening is my go to! And I just discovered Sorghum and that both humans and birds can eat. Still learning and amazed with people who inspire. Thank you for sharing some information. I have the thirst for doing exactly what you are doing. There's nothing wrong with using generators and what have you. Solar is fantastic as well! Wind too!

Hey if I could make a suggestion maybe walk and talk sometimes because your doing a lot of talking so far away from the camera, like when you showed the pond and graden hold your camera so we can see thing and listen too. I hope this helps❤

Yup there are some awesome Brooks, rivers and lakes around the area for trout and can even ocean fish :) I intend to do ALOT more this coming season

@MapleMonkeyHomestead Right on. Yeah...The snow is a change and nice. Wish there was at least a couple of days of dry weather. Not much we can do though about it. Lol. In the meantime I've just shifted attention to things I need to get done inside. One of those things is stratifying seeds. The last year or so I've been started a journey to make the lawn, disappear for the most part by growing perennial food sources and learning as much as I can. Always loved getting my hands dirty. Lol. I've found a winning comibination. Lol. Enjoy your Saturday Bro.

You should still have insurance on your property and contents, still have to pay your land taxes, its a great start to being more self efficient, try rabbits next for a food source, hope to see your evaluation in another 5 years from now, when reality sets in .....( sorry squirrel ) lol .....if your land owner dies the new owners can have you removed.....look into it......this surely beats living in a tent down by the river , street corner or the local park though......two thumbs up for you and have a happy life, take care

THE LORD IS WITH YOU ,TALK TO HIM ,TRUST HIM ,HE WILL HELP YOU THROUGH ALL THE ROUGH SPOTS ,THE LORD JESUS LOVES YOU , IF YOU DO THIS ,IT WILL ALL COME TOGETHER.
