I did the same thing... watched one episode just to try it and fell in love with it and binged the entire series. Loved how they "grew" the story and added characters and situations.I thought it was really well done!

This was such a beautiful show, I cried every episode, sometimes multiple times lol! I wanted to see Sebastian and the teacher get together eventually... it broke my heart when Mary died.

I have had to inform several people who watch it that it has been cancelled because Netflix doesn't say it is the final season. Everyone is just innocently waiting for Season 4 to air and are super upset when they find out it has been cancelled.

I loved this series. I was also a big fan of the books when i was a kid and we watched the 85 series in the 4th grade. The netflix adaptation took some liberties with the original material, but they did a great job with telling a compelling story. I would love more, though i believe the ending was good.

I've been wondering if when Mary cut her finger while cutting the potatoes I think did she caught an infection? And that's why she got sepsis. But I agree with you. She shouldn't have died. I think it was a poor desicion from the writers.

But I just can't resist this wholsome man taking this adorable little bundle of cuddles on a tour of the farm. Even if Mary dieing hit me like a runaway frate train.

Almost turned it off half way through the first episode because Anne annoyed me so much with her over-the-top chatter and perkiness. A bit saccharine and puke-inducing throughout, but I stuck it out and the show grew on me, even with its flaws. I have an elderly crush on Gilbert, one of the most beautiful young men ever. Yes, Bash is also gorgeous.
