About Anne with an E:
Building on the success of the acclaimed first season of ‘ANNE with an E’, we return to Prince Edward Island in the late 1890s for more of Anne Shirley-Cuthbert’s adventures (and misadventures) with growing up.
As the Cuthbert family deals with the consequences of their shifty new boarders, Anne also befriends Cole, a fellow student who is bullied at school. Meanwhile, Gilbert experiences life outside of Avonlea, working on a steamship alongside Sebastian, a Trinidadian sailor.
This season dives deeper into explorations of gender, race, sexuality, bullying, prejudice, and community, further connecting the world of the viewer and the world of Avonlea.

Its mostly CBCs fault tho they cancelled it but they had a reason they saw that the US was getting more benefits on the Canadian film industry than Canada well i wont say its a good enough reason to cancel it cause i think its kinda selfish of them to deprive fans by just that problem they could have just requested more credits for Canada or something. I watched the scene with her and Gilbert in the restaurant and something about whole situation felt so natural and strangely modern to me that I started looking at her clothes to try and find a time stamp. I couldn't find one but I did fall hopelessly in love with her scarf so I showed it to my grandmother and she's knitting it for me know, with a slightly darker grey because that's what she had. I'm going to have Anne's scarf this winter and I really couldn't be happier.

This show has been so much fun and incredibly meticulously made. It’s like watching a book, the details that go into each character is amazing. I was so sad to have it end, almost felt like good times came to end. I don’t even feel like watching any other show now as nothing compares to it’s glory!

Is nobody going to address how much effort they put into making the costumes and the show overall as realistic as possible!? It's incredible and I think what most people loved about this show was how it is able to draw you into that world even though they didn't have computers and tv and so many things were harder, lives of many people were harder than now. But they were still able to bring out the real beauty of the era without trying to change it just for the sake of making it more interesting for the audience. The audience doesn't need changes, the audience needs to see a realistic portrayal to get a new perspective on our world.

I finally also read the first book and I think they are doing a great job with this series. Certainly some things are different, but that way people can enjoy both the book and show without getting bored. I loved the new characters and think it is nice to see more of them instead of the focus only being on Anne. I am looking forward to season 3. Would be great if they also continued with the other books since I think that hasn't been done yet.

This series is a great voice for the showing of all that was in the past and women's power and relates to real life issues and Anne has to gain influence to be heard. We can clearly see the point of the author in well filmed scenes and it expresses well the behavior of the characters. To see even more of this amazing series and the dialogues that just fit so well with the intention of each adventure and acts, I HIGHLY recommend YOU to watch this serie (2017) and to be astonished by the so powerful words they can give you, as well as a very well created background story.
