My two cents.....BEWARE of the Jani-King Franchise!!!!!! My wife & I lost thousands of dollars. They are all about only signing up franchisees ($$$$), buy their garbage equipment ($$$$), no support ($$$$). This was in the 90's, so hopefully they have changed.

Thanks for the comment and sorry to hear about your experience. Jani King closed 500+ locations over the past 3 years. We have a pretty thick file of complaints on file from as recently as 3 months ago. Some people do OK, but the complaints to this day are similar to your own.

You should talk about McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts as everyone thinks they are a safe investment and even though on average it is a 5-6 roi people invest as it is “safe” do you believe it is as safe as people think and what the pros and cons are.

Thanks - sorry I missed this! The problem with researching too early is after spending all that time and finding the ideal option for your location and territory, it is sold when you are ready. Its like looking for a house 12 months before you want to buy - inventory is on the market now will likely not be what is there in 12 months. From a general perspective, most of what you need to knwo is in these videos, and specific research like demographic alignment, operator abilities, competition etc. can only be conducted once we know what is available in the market.
