Why I LOVE the AI Orbit 4 Wavemakers

I am a fan of the AI products that I am currently using. I use a Hydra 32 LED light and two Axis 40 DC return pumps to control water flow through a couple reactors. Being able to speed up or slow down the flow makes the pump a perfect choice for a reactor. I agree the app is fantastic simple and it just works.

I love AI’s pumps, but my only complaint is the bright turquoise propeller is an absolute eyesore imo. Especially when mounted on the back glass. Maybe it’s just me

I have a redsea reefwave25 and I’ve never had it on the app in 2 years I just us the controller cause I can’t figure there app out for the life of me it just will not find it and the reefwave25 is not even highlighted but all there other products are… excuse me all the other products that I don’t even have I mean are even the reefwave45 is and thats very frustrating I feel like if I get there other products they won’t even be highlighted either knowing my luck 🤦‍♂️

Oh and on another note you know what else is very frustrating lol no disrespect to fragbox love everything about it but the web site drives me crazy every time I try to use it and order something I can never sign in and when I put my password in it never recognizes it 👎 and all I want do is spend all my money at the store that’s all 😞

You dont have to drag and drop if you intend to completely change the flow. You click on the bar and then at top right, you should have the option to change it to different flow. No need to drag and then delete. Just a tip and trick 😁

I put ve me Orbit4 & Nero 5. I have them on my 75 gallon, I know overkill 😂 but I bought them cause Im planning on upgrading to a 150-200 in the future so why not. Use them with the Mobius app

I regret not buying this one over the maxspect gyre the app is unusable. I try making a schedule then the app crashes. It will also take a couple tries before it actually connects then crashes again. I currently have it running random mode since I bought them. I got ai lights so shoulda just gone with the pump as well.

Don’t worry about the plugs, just use a 24V transformer with a splitter, I’m running 2 neros and one orbit on a single plug, miles better.

1 year warranty is terrible for the money. I had two Nero 5s cables show bare cable within two years. Tunze carry 5 years that’s how it should be

I agree. I liked their app, but both of my Nero 3s died around the 1 year mark. One was replaced after the warranty technically expired (by days)- which was good on them. Then the second one dying nailed the coffin shut for me. I just tossed it in the bin and switched to Tunze. What’s better than a 5 year warranty? One that you never have to use…

I use the Ai app for nero 3s 5s and a few blades. the app has been one of the best for any equipment control that I have had experience with.
