Sharing my thoughts, review and pretty much obsessing over my kindle Paperwhite and giving you insights on whether or not if it's worth it! Just bought a Kindle Paperwhite 2 weeks ago and I already read 5-6 books. I love it so much. Decorate it with stickers and buy a custom case. Seriously if you're still hesitating, don't. You'll never regret it. Not that you end up not buying physical books (I think most people end up buying physical books that they like after they read it on Kindle), you just have a piece of minds of not losing you books when you're on vacation and you have a library of books in just one place. You get what I mean, right?😅 So please if you read this, its your sign to buy. I promise you, you'll not regret it.

I didn’t even consider myself a reader but after getting the paperwhite (after never having a kindle or any ereader) I LOVE IT. It removes an barrier or excuses for me to not read. It’s awesome. And with kindle unlimited trial you get to find out if you would get use out of that huge library as well. It’s amazing 🤩

Yes I totally agree!!!! I was ABSOLUTELY against getting an e-reader and now I see why everyone is obsessed with theirs😂☺️ also kindle unlimited was so worth it! I only did the trial, but the amount of great books on there was shocking! The kindle gives readers a chance to have other options when looking for books 😍

I bought the limited edition pink nook back in February from Barnes and Noble and I enjoy it because I love reading books without having to worry about shelf space. But honestly dark mode, kindle unlimited, and being able to download library books onto the kindle makes me want to get a Kindle now 😭

We actually have a nook as well and still like it, but yes!!! I do have to say that the dark mode and being able to download books from anywhere is such a huge game changer! I never feel stranded or stuck with one book 😊 if you do get it, I can’t wait to hear what you think of it 😆

Same 😅 I don’t know if I’ve ever heard someone buying a Kindle and not loving it. It took me awhile to get into the habit of reaching out for that instead of books but once I got into the habit I PREFER reading on a Kindle; and like you if I’m not going to re-read the books I’m not going to get the printed copy.

Apparently if you call Amazon customer service and ask them to remove the ads, they will do it for free! Lots of people complain about the embarrassing/raunchy ads.

Yes thanks for this tip I was on the fence bc I didn’t want to pay $20 more to have it with no ads that such a high price! Plus getting a case. Also a lot ppl are buying the kindle paperwhite for kids then throning off the kid profile and it’s virtually the exact product as kindle paperwhite for adults. I’m considering this but I love the agave green color the kindle paperwhite comes in.

For ad removal it’s like anything; it depends who you get on the phone; but what seems to be their “can’t say no to” is to tell them you’ve got kids that use the Kindle too and the ads are inappropriate and they’ll remove it for free. If they still want to charge you hang up and call till you get someone that will do it for free cos many will. In saying that I’d highly recommend if your in the US to get the Kids Kindle; EXACTLY the same hardware and software the only difference is you get 2yrs warranty instead of 1, a case, 1yr subscription to the Amazon Kids which I think is like a KU for kids, so much better value, and there’s no difference if you log in with your Amazon username.

I’ve had mine for almost a week and I’ve read 2 books so far. I have NEVER read with such speed. I got an e-reader because I had the urge to want to pick up my reading again-the kindle wasn’t my first choice, but I’m loving it so far.

Hahah yes for the never ending TBR list 😂 there’s just so many books and so little time! But I can definitely agree that the kindle makes you read so much faster! I love that we have the same kindle version 🥹 I might be biased, but it’s my favorite for sure haha

@@cheekychapters I’ve got the normal Paperwhite not Signature and the only difference is the auto-changing of the light, wireless charging and 32gb Vs 16gb, however if they had the Signature in stock my Mom was going to order that, we just got it too soon from release day here in Australia. It takes about a month or 2 before we get the new releases.

Ok thank you so much! I am a huge reader but it’s gotten harder and harder because I get overwhelmed and have ADHD. I was an English major and writer but my ability to read has been greatly impeded. My hang up is how much I love displaying my books but honestly, I have many unread classics that I may just attempt on kindle first. I really look forward to the dictionary part and maybe the audiobook part as well if I need more help concentrating.

Yes I know exactly what you mean! It might sound weird, but when I read on the kindle, I feel like I can concentrate more? I’m not sure why, but I can actually read when there’s noises in the back, but when I read a physical book, it’s difficult for me to focus! Also, Having the library on your kindle gives you the option to see which books you’ll really want to purchase for your bookshelf display too ☺️ and I hope you enjoy the dictionary feature! It has helped tremendously 😍 I hope you love your new kindle 😊🤍

Yes! I absolutely agree! Kindle unlimited has so many options and newer releases! I was so surprised and for the price, it’s totally worth it!

I never thought I would be an e-reader. But I LOVE my kindle paperwhite! I read do much more now & so much faster. It’s so lightweight and easy to take everywhere & reading in bed is 10x better. And I love the dictionary feature!

Yes yes and yes!!!!! I find it so much more easier to read at night and still get some sleep, but the dictionary part is literally such a game changer 😍 I was in the same boat! Being so against an e-reader, but now it’s my best friend 😂 I’m so so happy you’re loving it!!! It’s such a great companion ☺️

I'm still waiting for my case to arrive - it's a beautiful rose gold case with support to read while I eat. I'm also getting another case that I fell in love with, and a clear one with a pop socket. I love my Kindle Paperwhite because I love that I can have so many possible books to read and carry around without the weight of all those books plus I get a thrill being able to pre-order some books and have it available a couple of hours after midnight of the release day! I am probably going to trade it in for a Signature edition around Prime Day as I have an older one and been wanting to upgrade for a bit. I do still enjoy physical books and have many of them but it's rare I go anywhere without my Kindle.

@@cheekychapters I was planning on holding off upgrading my Kindle for a year or two but knowing there's so many cool features with the new edition and my Kindle seems to be slowing down, I am excited to see what it will be like to have and updated one particularly since I'll be able to have the option to charge it without a cord. Canada doesn’t do the ads. So if you’re buying from Canada don’t worry. Mine didn’t come with ads and everyone I know who has one also doesn’t have ads I have the 2022 basic kindle (kindle 2022 6”) and the battery is supposed to last 6 weeks. I read about 5 hours a day and use about 10% battery. So my battery will last roughly 10 days. Still rly good but def not 6 weeks. Maybe for a light reader, yes. But not for me. Still, it’s not a prob because it charges SUPER fast. Like, it goes up 10% while I’m in the shower. It’s great And you def read faster with a kindle. I thought I was a physical book reader ONLY. Nah, the kindle is where it’s at! Also the screen brightness is SUPER cool. You know when it’s late at night and your phone brightness is still too bright?? Ya, that never happens. The kindle has the power to turn ALL lights off so the brightness is 0. You can see at 0 with a light on or in the sun. It’s a weird but super cool experience.

I love your Kindle case 😍 Honestly I'm obsessed with my Kindle. I had one of the early editions of the Kindle and it lasted me over a decade. I only just replaced it last year because the battery was worn out. I have mobility issues and can't carry much when I'm out and about. I love that I can carry huge books in my pocket without having to struggle under the weight of them 😊

omg!! Yeah! I used my phone for a good minute because I wasn't sure if I wanted the kindle, but the screen from my phone hurts my eyes after awhile and kept me up at night lol plus I wasn't as distracted when my reading is done on the kindle than on my phone! This kindle should be able to handle water. I have the Kindle paperwhite 10th Gen, and I have taken it to the pool where it got accidentally submerged inside , but it worked! lol :D I still take it with me to the pool.
