I'm 73. I have a Bonneville T100. I bought a used Classic 350 this year. I love them both. But, thoughts of downsizing to just one bike have been creeping in the back of my mind. If one goes, it will likely be the much heavier Bonneville. I live and ride in the country. The 350 is just so much less stressful to ride and move about the garage. Probably a better fit for an aging biker.

I’m now on my fourth (and last!!) 350. Every time I get rid of one, I eventually get another. It’s just the perfect bike for exactly what you’re doing in this video; puttering about, slow lanes, easy on and off, easy to move and easy to ride. As well as easy to maintain and oh, what a sweet sound that single makes. I finally fixed my “need for (a bit more) speed” with the addition of a 650. Much like the Kawa fills that bill for you. Got the best of both worlds now! Guess I’m not the only one who prowls old cemeteries. I also find it fascinating to wonder about the inhabitants. Love your little forays into the country, Willie!! 👍👍 😎

I had a classic 350 and a Guzzi V7 850. One had to go, it was the Guzzi. No bike comes close to the 350 in terms of looks, pleasure and ease of riding. The engine is a masterpiece.

I have a Honda SuperCub in Japan. Never had so much fun! Can beat taxis out in the city and fit in anywhere. Can take my 12-year-old boy on the back and even visit nearby cities. Only 125cc. Can park with bicycles. So lightweight. Never thought I would say such positive things of such a small bike ... though I needed hundreds of cc's to be accepted without people laughing. I get many compliments with Japanese people saying it is a cool bike😉!

Sat on the Classic 650 yesterday at MCL, the ergonomics feel fantastic, I can't wait to try it out. The 350's are beautiful without a doubt, but I've never been a fan of cars trying to get on the back when I'm riding!

I had the book "grave humour" years ago.... "Beneath this sod, lies another" and the likes. I went to motorcycle live yesterday. The classic 650 looks so much better in the flesh. The bear looks a bit on the small side. The Himalayan 450 has a definite leap in quality (as have all the bikes), and their bikes are comfortably the best looking classic themed bikes

Thanks for the video, Willie, always enjoyable. You keep on about that Classic 350 has me looking for a good deal for one as well. Stay well. Ride on!

G’day Willie. What a calming, relaxing place. Thank you for showing us this little piece of beautiful British country life. There is a very unique cemetery in a town called Walhalla not too far from me, it’s filled with people from the gold rush days. Built on the side of a very steep hill, standing & walking around is a challenge. Makes us all wonder how they managed the burials. I will attempt to send you a video of it sometime. Cemetery’s can be fascinating places, full of history & mysteries. As for your 350, one of my biggest regrets was selling my Tribute 500. I’ve managed to buy it back, at a huge $$ loss 🙈🫣🙄. Those who say they lack power simply don’t understand these magnificent machines. If you do end up with another one, you will have the beautiful Kwaka 900 for rides when power is required & a beautiful 350 single for the pure enjoyment of it. Best of both worlds. Take care mate. Hooroo for now 👍🏍😁

It depends whether people consider a motorcycle is something to compete with, and preferably outrun the fastest cars. Given how quick cars travel nowadays, and routinely exceed the national speed limit by 20 or 30mph, I have no wish to play that game. So I try to avoid roads where inflated speeds are the norm, and a 350 chugger is still solid currency.

Never owned a Royal Enfield but the classic 350 looks wonderful and as you say around the quiet back roads of Suffolk im sure enough bhp. Cheers Willie.

There are three bikes I miss. My Laverda 350, the first of the BMW oilheads, a pearl white R1100RS and the F900XR. But perhaps my biggest motorcycle regret is the one I didn't buy - a Moto Morini 350. Now they are releasing a 50th anniversary edition. They have done to this what Kawasaki did the the RS. I will have to make room in the garage.

100% I look at the names and imagine the lives lived. It's not morbid but respectful. The more you talk about Classic 350 the more I want one... 350>650 in this case... such good value as well.

I get where you're coming from. Can't argue with that Willie . Ethel just loves Suffolks lanes. 20hp is not much but these local lanes and the 350 are a perfect match. I often potter out find a village have a coffee and enjoy a relax. It's that sort of bike , just laid back and good for the soul. Not that I want to be a resident in the graveyards . Looking is enough for now. Thank you very much

The classic 350 is extremely popular so it must be a joy to ride.i have asked my local dealer to keep me advised when the Bear 650 comes in I have looked at the triumph scrambler but the cost of the Enfield can not be ignored. And yes also look at the head stones to look at the history of the area you noticed tragic periods when terrible deaths happened due to known plagues etc.oh and I never walk over the grave out of respect.

I dont think anything has done more for small lanes and country roads in the UK than the Classic 350 lol!

Hi Will, Enjoyed your thoughts on the 650 classic and the great 350 classic, and agree wholeheartedly on your summing up of the 350, and yep I read the grave stones, I also get a feeling of calm come over me, just like when I set off for a ride on the classic the thud n burble of the motor just chills me out, had a look at your Benda 😬 looks a bit TRON to me prefer the other one you mentioned that’s nice,

My life spans 8 decades now and I have been to more than a few services for those who have passed away. All too often most folk are more interested in how the person died than in how they lived. I prefer the latter of those two. In all ways and for always, be well my friend, SS in "the Land of the knee walking Turkeys" (commiefornia) USA!

The classic 500 is is like the 350 with extra character and torque. I.ve had both. Just sold the 500 to make room for 56 triumph. May regret it later but can always get another 500. By the way the t110 is a whole other level of character. I feel like Steve mc queen. But I.ve not been asked for my autograph yet. Mainly because unfortunately I Don t look like him . 😂😂

See I do the same thing Willy I look at all the names who they were I do believe some of us get thrown back in because we cling to what we know some just have to I guess cause of our choices others 1000s of years pass or so I've heard. Trapped in a wheel even in space the void of space isn't just a void.

Grave stalker! As for bike options: there's just too many. Like women lol. Once you found that good fit, you stick with it/her/them...whatever.
