Why I Love this other Channel? Fishin4Adventure: 3 PB's! WARMWATER SPECIES on a HARDWATER DAY

It's not everyday that you get to fish with one of your favorite KZbin Channels. One of my absolute favorites is just a small channel now but I see big things for their future. Fishin4Adventure, Chris and Liv, are local to me They are working super hard to put out good clean content. Awesome edits, fun stuff. Check them out if you get a chance.

Great Job Denali!! She is awesome! When our kids turned 2 we had a sheet of 3/4'' plywood with a 10'' hole in the middle , we propped it up on saw horses in the living room and set a heritage in the hole . Our kids wood stand on the board and wait ..... Flag! we would simulate the fight from under the board and shove a fish pillow through the hole after a while. It was wicked fun and they knew exactly what to do when we got them out there.

Wow there are a lot of good bass in that lake! My PB Bass was 20 and 3/4 inches long, caught about 10 years ago. It spooled me and I didn't have a great knot tied at the end of the spool, but I got lucky and it didn't get off.

Great ice fishing Joe, Chris, Liv and the little one. Amazing those fish can find your bait among all those weeds. Imagine if those were smallmouth? It might as challenging as pike. Refreshing to get a break from the notorious colorful language of Maine ice-fishermen.

I bought one of those antique hand drills off Craigslist and I pre-drill my holes for the ice anchors. Works like a charm! And that way I don't have to take my cordless drill off my Clam Plate. And it sure beats trying to get those anchors in without pre-drilling the holes!

Honestly, Its just really poor leadership from our Department of Inland Fisheries and wildlife. All of the Biologists and Wardens I have met love to target and fish for giant pike. But its the Dept stance to blame them for the demise in the coldwater fisheries which they seldom take credit for poor management. Even the trout guys hate catching tank scrubber brookies that are small. We waste millions of dollars on them every year. The fishermen of the State love our big pike. Check facebook profile pics and most people are holding a giant pike. They cost the State nothing and bring in a ton of revenue.

I got burned really badly in the past so I keep a few secrets but for the most part I share lakes. If I don’t disclose with a map or location I try to keep them a little more quiet out of respect for friends and other fishermen. We are so lucky to live in Maine with so many great opportunities and bodies of water to find fish
