It's not often to see a foreigner/westerner saying good things about China. I'm glad that you had a good time in China and you're willing to share your experience. You can easily make tons of money by saying bad things about China, the more bad things you talk, the more views you get and thus the more money you get. Some very 'successful' KZbinrs made tons of money by talking bad things about China/Chinese people and the comment section is filled with people who never set foot in China saying the videos are very informative and they are very educated and they will never visit China in their life. But it seems like you have chosen the other way. And that alone deserves a thumb up. No country is perfect and China does have its own problems, and Chinese people know that. But in most western media, China is bad at all levels. I'm Chinese and I've been living in US for almost 10 years. I've met so many very well educated college students, and even they think China is full of pollution, rude people and communists, let alone the average not-so-well-educated people. However, I did meet a few foreigners who have been to China, and 100% of them told me that China is a lot different than what they have expected, like totally different (in a good way), none of them said that China is the same or even similar as what they thought. But I guess that's not gonna change anytime soon. As a famous person once said, "the world never understands China, and they never will." That said, I absolutely like your videos and look forward to you future videos.

Very nice to see this video. I was born in Yunnan, and now study and live in Germany. As you show in this video, Yunnan is way less developed than Beijing and Shanghai, but in this province, you can get the original and totally different feeling of the people and environment. I have not been back for 3 years. Through this video, you remind me of my hometown, and it is so warm to see the people, the street and the 农家乐, the restaurant on the top of the mountain you went to. Btw, small tips for the 水烟筒. Some people think that the water can be the filter absorbing some harmful stuff. To be honest, i think people do that just because you can interact with the pressure generated by water inside.hahah. An uncle of mine even huge it like his wife hhhh! Anyway, I hope you can see my comments and i appreciate what you have done indeed! thank you!

I think it’s great that you keep a daily video journal. It’s awesome! Inspire me wanting to do it too. Especially when I travel alone and have difficulty connecting with the local. Cheers mate! 👍🌈❤️

Just got recommended by this video, anyways, that bong is actually quite popular in Southern Asia. It's actually used to take in a huge dose of tobacco at one time, you can actually pass out from the huge dose it's designed for you to take if you're not used to it.
