The nursing staff at Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine describe what it's like to work for Baylor.
The nursing staff at Baylor Grapevine recently received Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®. Baylor Grapevine joins the ranks of some of the nation's prestigious health care organizations including Cleveland Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Mayo Clinic and MD Anderson Cancer Center. It is also the fourth hospital in Baylor Health Care System to receive the elite designation.
Magnet status is one of the highest levels of recognition a hospital can achieve. For patients, this designation means that their care is provided by a nursing staff that ranks in the top seven percent of hospitals in the country. According to the ANCC, Magnet designation is the gold standard of patient care.
