Inevitably it happens.....you grow tired of a handbag. Whatever the reason whether it is too smal, too large, wrong color....it happens. In this video I will tell you why I am getting rid of two bags from Yves Saint Laurent. One is the quilted Lou Lou and the other is the Icare shopping tote. Both are great handbags, but they just don`t go with my lifestyle or needs anymore. I hope this review helps you out. I purchased the puffer in small and I couldn’t be happier. I was torn btw the puffer and the loulou and I’m sure that at this point I would want to sell it if I had gone for the lou lou. The puffer is more adaptable, more casual, less in the face. I simply love it.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with these bags. I also sold my LouLou Medium in black/gold hardware this year. For me, it was heavy, I didn’t like the chain strap and the snap closure was a pain, like you described. I don’t like keeping expensive purses that I’m not using.

I have been thinking about selling my YSL bags lately actually - your video confirmed me that thought haha Like you said, they're not bad, but I just don't feel in love with them anymore. I thank you for your video. I don’t know where to buy bags anymore just recently Coach stole a bag from, the repair people say the send it but I don’t have it and the luxury brands have increased their prices after Covid of at least 40% and reduced the quality. Buying used online is risky because I like to see things very well and I can’t.

Oh no! Yeah it’s hard to trust anyone anymore, even repair people 😟. Do you have local consignment shops near by? Then you can actually see the bag in person. Some online shops do have good return policies too.

I’m thinking of getting the icare for church. I’m there for a few hours on Sunday morning and I usually get cold. I need my notebook and pen, my Bible, my large scarf or lap blanket, my water or coffee, a snack and my usual purse items. I could probably sneak in my Persian cat, too!😺

My husband bought a sac de jour as my first luxury handbag and was totally disappointed. The quality was not great. The stitching on the belt that was holding the strap was loose. Took it to the store and they tried to repair it yet still failed (it took them a good 3 weeks to get back to me). The top handle straps’ lining were cracking and the corners where the opening is started to tear. As much as I want to love the bag, it’s hard. Ordered it online and it came in a dust bag and their regular paper bag. For a bag that almost costs $3k, I was hoping there was more effort into it. 😢 Had to get this bag repaired due to the issues.

Hey Laura! Loving your videos! I really liked the large YSL bag when it first came out. The ridiculous large logo is what I LOVED! The bag was just too over the top large or me. Im glad I didnt get it. The YSL flap was just not calling me but regardless it is a pretty bag and a classic.

The icare doesnt look worth the price tag. It looks like the totes you get for free with a fragrance purchase. I got a nice mesh chanel beach bag years ago and got many compliments when i took to the beach and it was free because i purchased alot of fragrances and lotions...

Thank You! I've been seeing the LouLou in.all sizes on everyone amd.their.nephew...I think.the style is compelling but the prices are not ok since everyone has it, or a facsimile. I bought the coach padded tabby as a trial to the ysl so glad I did. The coach is beautiful and has all the bells and whistles of YSL. However, the bag doesn't hold a.whole bunch. So..now.based om.your review and !my experience with a similar! Bag I can stop ping away for.this.bag.

I have to slide my fingers inside and push the flap out of my Lou2 small when i open it bec yes its pulling the leather out. The small is very light tho. My YSL Kate reversible med is a diff story. I love it but the chain is so heavy, it dont have any leather on the chain so it hurts if my shoulder. I bought a lighter chain from etsy but it doesn't look as nice 😐. I'll be loosing money if i sell it so im stuck with it.

I am not a fan of ysl. And i don't respect the brand for one reason. They're the copy of everything from other brands. The college bags are the image of LV pochette metis that original style is from coach the cassie that exists 2 decades ago. Not long ago ysl copied the red bottom women shoes from louboutine that lead to a lawsuit. Louboutine did not win the case but it marked a shame on ysl for clearly copied a style. Ysl doesn't have their genuine styles and they are not creative in the fashion world. All they do is stealing the work from others. Honestly every big brand makes a copy from each other. I found Gucci immitate a few Coach bags that i own decades ago. And the imitation is exact details from Coach. Well ladies, you have the money to buy what make you happy. I would not consider a brand better than the others, neither the trend of the year. Whatevet make me look good and chic, i use it. People say logos are out. Wrong! I just came back from London where logos are everywhere from Harrod to train stations and bus. Logos are still in styles, if you can still afford it. Don't be afraid to use them and don't waste it keeping them in your closet. Logos elevate your outfits and your look depending how you are using them in an elegant way

Anything with logos is a big turn off for me too! Why are we walking around providing free advertising? What are we trying to achieve by doing this? Show people we can afford overpriced bags? It's almost embarrassing to do that these days!

Do not buy YSL bags, I bought a medium puffy in cream lambskin and in a month the leather wore off in all 4 corners!! Luckily Brown Thomas Dublin allowed an exchange to a 5 a 7 but compared to my Chanel 19 awful quality and customer service.

I have a few luxury handbags. I think when you are planning to buy a luxury handbags, you should do your research.Whether it's going to the store or do like I do and watch youtube videos before making that big purchase. I have the Lou Lou bag for a few years now and I love it. I was looking at the tote but after trying it on in the store and watching youtube videos I brought the Dior Caro bag instead. Unless you have thousands of dollars to throw away - take time to do your research first.
