Tips for micro cap investing 1 The safest way to invest in Microcaps is to diversify the portfolio and buy many micro companies and 2 review their performance aggressively and shift to the good ones from the bad ones. 3. Cut your losers out immediately eg Add Shop retail and Varanium cloud hoodwinked the investors and one needs to get out immediately 4. Keep buying the good ones on dips but on the up swing momentum. Don’t buy falling knives like Add shop retail 5 you need to have a very long term horizon - min 5 years. So only put money that you can forget for the next 5-10 years 6. Follow Earnings calls and transcripts very closely and take notes and compare 7. MOST IMPORTANT IS PROMOTER INTEGRITY AND CAPABILITY. Try to figure out (very hard to do but this is the key criterion) their intent, background and ability to walk the talk.

Yes. NPS is market linked, so basically only downside is a locking of your capital. So, invest in nps only for the limit of tax savings.

If you want your followers to be independent and do thier independent analysis ( which I belive you do), you should start with your methodology in shortlisting a company. I have observed that you always skip this part and just come up with the later part. One can look at Snowflakes. The peak was $450+ warren Buffets invested in this stock at $150 and was the only pre ipo stock that he had ever invested . Currently trading around $200. This is a very respectable AI company. Still trading below 50% of its peak.

Now vedanta recovered back again trading at 285 😢😢😢😢 In between, they gave dividend of 9.9 per share My suggestion after this experience, don't blindly follow their tips.

The credit card industry is going to grow very fast in the coming years but the fundamentals and technicals of SBI cards doesn't look good. I was holding it for a while now but going to replace it with some better stocks.

Looks like you are new to stock market. Tell me how many shares you bought when Satyam was is soup?? How many shares did you buy when Nirav Modi defaulted loans of PNB and the share was available less than coffee price. These are very common. Two years back IRCTC share share fell to 540 for just an hour when govt made a small change in revenue distribution. How many of them did you buy. It's not about opportunity, it's the courage,knowledge of the company and availability of money at these times. Further you never recommend shares like RVNL, IRFC in 2020 to buy.

If you are so confident and fundamentally strong why don’t you invest 80% of your assets in it? If not - why don’t you say it out loud that we should keep a minor portion of our overall portfolio in micro cap? Why confuse new bees saying there is also a risk etc etc. your are not giving investment advice, but if you are guiding or educating be more transparent.

If u really have a risk appetite to invest in microcap just invest in nifty 250 microcap but don't invest more than 5% of ur investment
