Do your thing bro. It's your car, your money and it will make good content for your channel. Honestly, I didn't get my SS because of fools doing burnouts and so forth because that doesn't impress me. It's a big comfy and 'sporty' ride with decent passing power and it looks good and outside of the K&N from previous owner, it will remain stock. I look forward to seeing the transition of your car so rock on!

I'm keeping my lt1 to the end of the engine life right now it's still going strong and I put great motor oil in it and premium gas I and got a real viper ecu portable chip for my 96 Impala SS car to make it perform and ride more faster that's all I need for a middle age guy of the age of 43 ☺️ 💯.

Man my LT1 dropped a valve in January because I straight piped it smh. I’m in the process of figuring out what to do myself. Top end rebuilding gone cost me about 3-4K. I got a 6.0 out a Yukon Denali I was about to drop in my box Chevy but now it’s going in my impala! Got to do what we have to do man. I’m going to rebuild my LT1 and drop it in something else myself! I’ll be watching man and taking notes!

We all evolve & how many people want a modern motor. Goals are to be met & the sky is not the limit. LS motors are much lighter & parts are everywhere. The bigger the lighter these days. I’m eventually gonna swap it out one day or night. Rock on homie 🇺🇸

The OG engine is great. Just not for an impatient individual like myself please don't be discouraged lol. It's just that past 425 WHP N/A the LS makes more sense just a personal goal. If you're staying under that there's no point of swapping or even stroking the 350 out to 383 or 396

I feel you Bru. I have a Roadmaster wagon, and I'm going to do an LS swap with to it and take the lt1 and put it in a regal, k5, or C10. I'm subscribing and see how yours turn out and catch a few pointers and whatnot. Good luck

The power potential and support is just ridiculously huge for the LS. The LT is great but limited in some areas I'd like to not have to worry about later down the line when wanting to go futher. The LT4 is basically just an LT1 350 with different heads cam & intake knock module a couple other things IIRC

Can't go wrong with a 5.3 there's a guy with a white one I think it's AWD if I remember correctly. It looks like an extensive project but very worth it. GM should have put an LS in all of them I really love the body style I just don't get why they didn't put more engine options out there for it. It looks way better than any Mopar out there

I am just getting into B Body game , I was just given a roadmaster. I am coming from foxbody world, my suggestion would be keep you ss lightly bolted. Get a clone and ls swap or big block that car cause one day you’ll look on meecum or Barrett Jackson and be shocked at value of them. SS probably will explode in prices soon

I have a 95 F-Body TA LT1 right now and I have been debating about adding the 24x conversion kit and then moving into a Pro Charger. I just roll it out on Sundays at this point in my life and it might never see the track again. So I have been debating about what way better for me to go at my stage in life lol

That is so not true The right LS engine or right tune n cam package will have matching or either more low end torque also u can get more rpm range out of the LS and more High end torque ! The drive train has a lot to do with everything Uber not listening u have to get the power to the wheels

ls swapping cool way better platform altogether but i know my pockets can’t do a ls swap but it can do a 355 or heads and can lt1 and have 400hp to wheels….

That 355 will be a bad mf still especially with a Lloyd Elliot package 💯 and to be fair he's said himself he's gotten better over the years he's been around and respected for decades so I cannot imagine what a 2023 LE 355 would put out 🔥

The rating was because of compression laws. Thats why that car came with a lt1 same with vetts and camaros and mustangs the cobras in the 90s were 4.6 supercharge. They drop that in the 2000s. Also chevy did brong back the lt1 in 2016 camaro but its 6.2 not a 5.7.
