I have to say: congrats for this decision. Easy going everything..small country but by car you have all Europe in the pocket! Slovenia is welfare country, good and free healthcare. Everyone can live well, high quality of life without stress! In Slovenia Alps meet Adriatic sea..so good job! The language is grammatically same as German..but is slavic..we have those hard R..🤪.. scottish alike!😅

Subscribed. I'm 58 and looking to move back to Europe. I have some history with Prague but not too sure about the political climate and resulting xenophobia that seems to have worsened since I was last there in 2013 (I was first there for seven months in Jan-Aug 1991) so I'm also considering Slovenia. How close did Prague come to making the cut for you and what were the deciding factors in its elimination from contention? Thanks and best wishes, I'm sure you'll have a blast.

Hey! Cheers for subscribing. I really appreciate your support. I have visited Prague, but it has been some time. For me, It was a bit too touristy to consider for my move. I wanted a "hidden gem" if you will. It has been wonderful, but compared to Prague it is much much smaller and definitely a slower pace. Cheers for the best wishes, and I hope this helps!!

You have made a great decision going to Slovenia. It's a great country. The nature in Slovenia is the best. Clean air, clean water, the people of Slovenia respects nature and live harmonically with it. The people of Slovenia are great and the food too - so you couldn't ask for a better place to live in. I myself would have preferred living in the countryside then in the city, but its a matter of preference. Enjoy your stay there. 🌻🦋
