Cool to see this. Really liked seeing how the contrasting swing styles got dialed in. Also seeing how the different heads completely changed dispersion with the same shafts. Just goes to show you why buying the latest and greatest driver off the shelf can make one player improve their shot and another have zero control. It's a science and I'm glad to see places like this that can help golfers get dialed in to give them the best shot and improving their game overall

Dealt with the same thing, but I just got my first fitting. It’s worth it. The guy told me that if you’re breaking 100, you should get a club fitting before even starting lessons. I waited until I broke 85 and that was way too long. A lot of times we use bad equipment and it hurts our swing by rewarding bad things.

Mason just curious why the slightly shorter shaft? What would lengthening it do cause it would flatten the lie angle and maybe even straighten out just a hair more? Just curious.

to be clear, the lie angle adjusts depending on the hosel. in Cobra's case, they have "std" and "draw", so lofting it down would open the face but make the club more upright. right?

8 degrees up is wild! Try to neutralize that angle of attack down to 3-4 and your consistency will go up and those nose divers will go away. Coming from experience 😊

Big fan of the unbiased fitting. If you’re not on the PGA tour or sponsored by a specific brand, I don’t see a point in using the same brand for all your clubs. It was cool to see Mason surprised by Cobra as I’m sure that’s not the brand he would have initially considered.
