Cooking with Lucy ? My riding journey ? Fairfax and Favour update ? What I eat in a day ? Pony feeds/routine ? The list is endless but priority is you healing obs 😉 Xx

Have you considered doing a track system around the edge of your paddock for the mares? It's a bit of effort to set up but it helps with movement- which will keep the weight off but give them a good base level of fitness and also great movement for Laragh's knees (I think?) Though I would definitely recommend waiting until you are more recovered to tackle that kind of fencing effort!! So glad to see you are out of hospital and on the road to recovery. Hopefully we will see you back in the saddle soon (But not too soon... Behave and rest up!)

So sorry you've had a rough time Lucy. Please please please don't do too much too soon. I was really poorly with a virus which attacked my liver (hospital 8 days) then got post viral fatigue and ME. I did too much too soon and it was a downward spiral. Only now properly recovering after nearly 3 years! I had 2 episodes of not riding for a year - so basically 2 years out. I'm obviously not saying that this will happen to you, but just please be mindful! I am your age and was previously completely fit and well.

Gosh, that was a bit of a traumatic episode for you with the appendix! Glad you came through it Ok though. Anaesthetic will make you really out of it for a week or so afterwards along with antibiotics and pain medication. Don't rush to get well but take your time. The horses are being taken good care of so don't do too much!! Hope you feel more your old self again very soon. Sending you healing thoughts. ❤❤❤

It is so lovely to see you out and about. I know what you mean about being a bit out of it due to the medication. When i was in hospital with a nasty kidney infection the meds sent me loopy. I was offering to cook the specialist dinner if he sent me home. The odd thing is i am a rubbish cook 😂😂xx

Hope all turns out alright in the end. Thank you for telling us. Lara (I don't know if I spelt her name right, haha) looks great even though you did say she is a bit on the round side, haha. I was helping teach children to horse ride and the whole day we were getting attacked by horse flies, they're so annoying. Thanks for sharing!
