Why be sad there will be many more adventures off and on the water. Keep yourself opened to new and exciting life experiences and try to never say no! One year for a New Years resolution I told myself I would say YES to everyone who asked me to do something I wouldn't normally do. It was the best year and now I very rarely say NO. I think anyone would like to hang out with you because you are a great team player. Take a rest and start over!!

I totally feel that and yyayyyyy to your 2023. This year, I actually have the opposite problem. I’ve had to actively practice saying no to cool opportunities so I can pursue the course I am creating. A worthwhile no, but hard nonetheless. Thank you for your kindness. I think growing up in a big family helped me a lot to learn to be considerate. I’m so thankful for this. Lots of love your way, and I totally support your YES year! Go you!!!! 💜💜💜

Oh I don't know, Life can be long enough for an amazing amount of experiences. An Almost Father in Law once told me he had Concluded that there weren't any real limits on the number of Skills you can a quire. An amazing guy, shame about his daughter, 😅 Anyway, I found Ince people have become really skilled at one thing, they never treated other Skills at Face Value, they dived into them and got all the information needed correct, then applied them to the new skill. A skilled Carpenter can become a skilled Natural Slater, a Skilled Plumber can become a skilled electrician, A Civil and Structural Engineer can become a skilled Clay Shooter, a Smallburgh Rifle shot able to put 5 rounds lengthways down the length of a cigarette, change prone position, and put the next 5 rounds down the length of another cigarette, those at 50 yards, then with basic Mauser sights, score 10 bulls eyes at 15 yards also with .22 LR Rimfire at 10 targets you can't even touch the line of the bulls eye , then move into fullbore Rifle, shooting tangerines at 1,000 yards, and becoming a Qualified Advanced Marksman, a qualified Wildlife Manaber, a qualified Welder, a Student of Constitutional Philosophy (no Qualifications available) a skilled Furniture maker, a skilled Energy efficient Timber Framed House Architect, a qualified skilled Electrical installation Engineer, a Skilled Custom Computer Builder, a Skilled Software Tester, Registered Microsoft Developer. Now I was a pretty quick guy on a Motorbike, almost went Motorbike Racing, a d was Convinced I'd be Dead bothered age of 30. Turned out, I was too Quick to be Dead. Almost every Qualified Skill I've Listed, I've learned since I was 30 years old. So is Life too short really ? That's only a partial List by the way, there are others too. Just Keep on Keeping on, and let's see what's over the next Horizon. Best Wishes. Bob. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️

But when your life partner has an incurable disease (brain tumour) and she is afraid... You don't have much of an option. There is no going out for a long sail; no week long trip in the middle of nowhere. The constant thought is 'where is the closest major medical facility' ..... just in case. And she struggles without someone by her side, fear takes over: When will the next serious seizure? Will I be able to call on my own for help? Will I fall down the stairs? Will my son find me at the bottom of those stairs? Then there's my fears of the same, but I'm the care-giver. I cannot show weakness. I cannot echo her fears.

Yup, I feel this so hard. There’s a whole unseen groups of people suffering medical emergencies. My message is more towards those that have more control over their situations. That said, your deserve to have your needs met too, even while she is ill. You have to take care of yourself and make sure you have enough energy for the long haul. I made the mistake of giving so much that I got burnt out, and you are nothing to your partner if you burn out. Sending so much strength and love your way as you navigate this. 💜💜💜
